Klaudia and Jakub’s journey began eight years ago at a creativity contest called Odyssey of the Mind. “It was one of those moments where fate seemed to step in,” they recall, explaining how competing on different teams turned into an unexpected bond over problem-solving and creativity. Over the years, their shared adventures, growth, and unyielding support for one another have only deepened their love. “Odyssey of the Mind may have been where it all started, but it’s been our shared adventures, growth, and love that have kept us together ever since,” they fondly remember.
From the very beginning, Klaudia and Jakub envisioned a day that balanced elegance and extravagance with the natural beauty of a garden. They dreamed of a magical celebration where lush greenery, vibrant blooms, and organic elements wove together seamlessly with sophisticated crystal accents. “The garden theme set the foundation, with lush greenery, blooms, and organic elements weaving throughout the decor. To elevate it, we incorporated sparkling crystals—chandeliers hanging from trees and shimmering accents that caught the light beautifully,” they added.
The celebration was set for August 24, 2024, in Gdynia, Poland, at the sophisticated Hotel Kiston—a venue chosen for its ability to transform into a fairy tale setting. The theme, dubbed CRYSTAL VOYAGE, was inspired by Tuscan gardens reimagined within a palace hall, drawing inspiration from the uniqueness of every garden and every natural detail.
The day began with an air of anticipation and elegance. Every detail was carefully curated to set the tone for the celebrations ahead. Invitations and wedding stationery, beautifully designed by @brodazaprasza, graced the morning with a hint of the sophisticated celebration to come. Along with these thoughtfully crafted touches, Klaudia cherished a timeless pearl necklace—an heirloom echoing her mother’s wedding tradition—adding an extra layer of sentiment and beauty to the start of her day.
In the intimate setting of Hotel Kiston, Klaudia prepared to step into her dream day with moments filled with both nerves and excitement. Her wedding dress, designed by Oksana Mukha, was nothing short of love at first sight. “I knew that's the one the moment I saw her,” she confided. However, the journey to secure the perfect gown was not without its challenges. “No bride salon in Poland wanted to bring this model for fittings. Fortunately, I found an angel 600 km from home - the Sophia Końskie salon - that brought me my dream wedding dress. It was love from the first sight,” she revealed.
Her getting-ready photoshoot took place at Hotel Kiston, where every detail was captured with care. With her maid of honor and three bridesmaids by her side, the moments were filled with laughter and tender anticipation. Klaudia completed her look with elegant accessories: Jimmy Choo’s stunning heels and a dramatic three-meter-long veil. Holding a bouquet of pristine white roses—beautifully arranged by @pomaluco—she radiated both grace and excitement for the day ahead.
At the same beautiful Hotel Kiston, Jakub prepared for the day with quiet determination and joy. Accompanied by his best man, he captured moments of anticipation and camaraderie in an intimate getting-ready session.
The heart of the day unfolded at the Church of St. Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Mściszewice. As Klaudia made her way down the aisle to the soulful strains of Beyoncé’s Halo performed by a violin quartet, every moment felt imbued with romance. With her adorable nieces serving as flower girls and her nephew carrying the rings, the ceremony was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal sentiment. “The moment I enter the church and our eyes meet for the first time. It all came to life and we lived the moment,” the bride recalls.
After the vows were exchanged, the celebration of love continued with a breathtaking post-ceremony photoshoot at the Giardini di Villa Melzi in Lake Como, Italy. The timeless beauty of the Italian gardens, combined with the serene vistas of the lake, provided an idyllic setting where every photograph told a story of passion, joy, and the promise of forever.
Hotel Kiston set the stage for a day of refined celebration. Chosen for its sophisticated atmosphere, the venue was transformed into a magical garden wonderland that perfectly complemented the “CRYSTAL VOYAGE” theme. The decor embraced a palette of green, crystal, and white, seamlessly blending natural elements with luxurious touches. Personalized details abounded—from custom candles and a specially curated wedding newspaper to sweets adorned with the couple’s initials—each element underscored their commitment to creating a celebration as unique as their love.
The evening evolved into a lively reception filled with heartfelt moments and joyous celebration. The first dance, set to the enchanting tune, “I was made for loving you,” sparked an atmosphere of pure romance and delight as guests celebrated well into the night. A sumptuous spread of food and drinks, along with a stunning wedding cake crafted by @cakemegdansk, provided delightful indulgence for every guest.
Reflecting on the day, Klaudia and Jakub shared their impressions of working with the wedding vendors: “We were incredibly fortunate to have an outstanding team of professionals who truly understood the importance of our day and made everything absolutely perfect. From start to finish, every vendor went above and beyond to bring our dream wedding to life.”
They continued, “A special thanks goes to our amazing wedding planners, who turned our vision into reality. The venue managers were also extraordinary. They were incredibly helpful during the preparations, ensuring every aspect of the venue was perfectly arranged to match our vision. Our photographers deserve immense praise—they had such an artistic eye and a clear vision. The outcome of their work is simply breathtaking. And, of course, the music band! They were hands down the best we’ve ever heard live.”
