Lindsey and Lewis first crossed paths in 2014, introduced through mutual friends, the way so many long relationships quietly begin - no fireworks, just a friendly face who kept showing up in the same circles. For the next year and a half, their paths crossed here and there, a few nights out, always an easy conversation, nothing more urgent than that. Then, in April 2016, they found themselves at the same club on the same night, and something shifted. "We met in 2014… then we were both on a night out at the same club in April 2016, we danced together, and the rest is history, we've been together ever since," Lindsey says, describing a night that turned two years of near-misses into the beginning of everything.
What followed was eight years together before Lewis finally proposed in Santorini, in a private rooftop setting he'd arranged without her knowing - candles scattered across the floor, their song already playing, petals leading the way. Lindsey had a feeling something was coming, given how long they'd been together, but she didn't know for certain until she was standing there. By the time the couple began planning their wedding, they'd already spent a full decade building a life side by side, a milestone they later marked in the most literal way possible: a wedding cake with ten tiers, one for every year.
About Your Wedding
Long before Lindsey and Lewis ever stepped foot on a Tuscan estate, Lindsey already had the wedding pictured in her mind, almost exactly as it would eventually unfold. "I had this image in my head of a beautiful villa in the Tuscan countryside with vineyards, where we could have the ceremony and dinner outside with gorgeous views and sun," she says - a vision the couple confirmed together in a small, telling moment after the proposal, when they each silently wrote down their dream location and revealed it at the same time. Both had written Tuscany.
On June 18, 2026, that vision became real. Forty-nine guests gathered at Tenuta Corbinaia for a wedding nearly two years in the planning, set against rolling vineyard views and warm Tuscan light. The couple built the day around a palette of white, champagne, and soft greens, aiming for something that felt elegant without ever tipping into stiff or overly formal - a day meant to look beautiful in every photograph, but to feel, above all, like a genuinely fun celebration among the people they loved most.
Morning Details
The morning unfolded slowly and without urgency in the bridal suite at Tenuta Corbinaia, the kind of unhurried start that comes only from having planned every detail well in advance. Lindsey's bridesmaids were there from the very first moment, settled in before the sun had even fully warmed the vineyard outside, filling the room with the easy, familiar chatter of people who'd been looking forward to this day almost as much as the bride herself. One by one, the room grew fuller: first Lindsey's mother, then Lewis's mother, then Lewis's sister, each joining from elsewhere in the villa to finish getting ready together, until the whole space felt less like preparation and more like a gathering in its own right. There was no single dramatic reveal built into the morning - just a slow, layered build toward the moment that mattered, surrounded the entire time by the women who'd known her longest.
Bride Getting Ready
Lindsey's dress came from Australian designer Jane Hill, discovered at Isabella's Closet, a bridal boutique near Liverpool - though getting there took a bit of reconsideration first. She'd initially pictured something slim and fitted, the kind of silhouette most brides default to, but the more she thought about the villa, the vineyards, and the sweep of the setting itself, the more a fuller skirt made sense. "The more I thought about the wedding and venue, the more I thought a dress with a fuller skirt would be perfect," she says, admitting it was also simply an excuse to wear a dress she'd never otherwise get the chance to. Once she'd made peace with that shift in style, everything else moved quickly, and the dress she'd found online ended up being the exact one she chose in person.
She completed the look with a lace veil, Amina Muaddi heels, long white opera gloves, and a pair of delicate teardrop earrings, carrying a bouquet of twelve white peonies from I Fiori di Nadia - simple, romantic, and entirely in keeping with the soft, elegant tone she'd envisioned from the beginning.
Groom Getting Ready
While Lindsey prepared upstairs, Lewis got ready elsewhere on the same estate, surrounded by his groomsmen in a separate wing of Tenuta Corbinaia. He wore a fully custom suit from Edit Suits Co. in Manchester, designed hand-in-hand with Lindsey down to the fabric choice and lapel style - a rare instance of a groom's outfit being a genuine joint decision rather than an afterthought. In place of a traditional single ring bearer, the couple handed the responsibility to their two best men, one carrying each ring. This small and easy detail matched the relaxed, unfussy spirit running through the rest of the day.
Ceremony
The couple exchanged vows on the Belvedere Terrace at Tenuta Corbinaia, with sweeping views of the Tuscan countryside as their backdrop. Lindsey walked down the aisle to "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis, a classic choice that suited the timeless, romantic tone of the day. Both Lindsey and Lewis had written their own vows, and hearing them read aloud turned into one of the ceremony's most affecting moments. "We both wrote our own vows, so getting to read them, hear what the other wrote, was really special. There were tears, there was laughter," Lindsey recalls.
Their celebrant, Sofia, added an unexpected moment of levity partway through, reading aloud from a set of questions the couple had each answered separately and secretly ahead of time - only for the room to realize, one answer at a time, just how closely their responses matched. The ceremony closed on a dramatic note, with a smoke show framing their first kiss as newlyweds.
Photoshoot After The Ceremony
With the ceremony behind them, Lindsey and Lewis spent the rest of the afternoon moving through Tenuta Corbinaia's grounds for portraits, taking advantage of just how varied the estate's scenery actually was. Each corner of the property offered something distinct - a different angle on the vineyards, a different quality of light - which meant the resulting photographs never felt repetitive. One location mattered more than any other to the couple: the estate's long driveway, lined on either side with trees, photographed in the evening light. "It was definitely important to us that we had some evening photos on the driveway as the long driveway with the trees on either side looks like something out of a movie," Lindsey says, and the results lived up to exactly that.
Wedding Venue & Decor
Choosing Tenuta Corbinaia wasn't a long, difficult search - it was closer to an instant recognition. "Sara sent us a few options, and we were both instantly drawn to Tenuta Corbinaia. It had everything we wanted, and we could both really picture our wedding there," Lindsey says of the moment their wedding planner first presented the venue. The estate's rolling vineyard views and warm countryside light matched the picture Lindsey had been carrying in her head since her earliest conversations with Lewis about the wedding, long before either of them had actually seen the property in person.
Decor throughout the day leaned into a palette of white, champagne, and soft green tones, letting the vineyard views and the estate's natural stonework do much of the visual heavy lifting rather than overwhelming the space with heavy styling. It was a decor approach built to complement Tuscany itself, not compete with it.

Reception
Behind the scenes, the couple credits much of the day's smoothness to their wedding planner. "Because of Sara, our wedding was better than anything we ever imagined it could be. She made the planning process as stress-free as possible, had incredible suggestions, and ensured that the day ran smoothly," Lindsey says, reflecting on nearly two years of planning that led to this single evening.
One touch stood out above the rest for guests: a handwritten, personalized note left at every place setting, something the couple hoped would be appreciated but didn't fully expect to land as deeply as it did. The room, they say, was genuinely moved by it. As the evening wore on, the couple took to the floor for their first dance to "You're Still the One" by Bailey Rushlow, before cutting into a cake from Class Ricevimenti built ten tiers high - one for every year they'd been together before finally saying "I do."
