We didn’t have a wedding planner and DIY most of our wedding. Allen was also incredibly helpful even before the wedding. Beyond answering all of our photography questions, he gave us so much thoughtful advice from a photographer’s perspective on our timeline, setup, florals, and even little details we wouldn’t have thought about ourselves. He pointed out things that could potentially cause issues and helped us make choices that made the overall setup look more polished and photograph beautifully. His advice was a huge help during the planning process and definitely made a difference in how everything came together.
On the wedding day, he even took some photos on his phone just so we could have a few to look at right away, which was such a thoughtful touch. After the wedding, our family and friends kept telling us how much they loved Allen and how great he was to work with.

He’s really good at making you forget there’s even a camera. Instead of telling us to hold a pose every five seconds, he had us walk, talk, laugh, and just interact with each other. It never felt awkward, and the photos ended up looking so much more natural because of it.
