Meet Priya    CEO, founder, visionary, entrepreneur, trailblazer in her industry, icon in her field, perfectionist by trade and in all that she strives for, she’s better known to one and all as: Priya.     Over a decade ago, she poured her heart and soul into building what would merely be her first professional endeavor. Humbly built upon the foundation of her family roots- Priya named her first born business, “Premini,” which is  a combination of her brother (Prem) and sister’s (Padmini) names, which translates to, “little love,” the coveted secret ingredient to creating extraordinary, unadulterated, intangible, magic.     The birth of Premini Events was a natural progression departing fr om Priya’s celebrated work in the high end hospitality industry, executing excellence for Fortune 500 companies across New York City in the corporate world. Her entrepreneurial spirit soared her wedding planning firm to new heights as she served her clients a healthy dose of fresh perspectives, precise attention to detail, an eye for elegance, a flair for luxury, and an outside of the box approach. Her work caught the eye of notable publications- Harper's Bazaar, Business Insider, The New York Times, Town and Country, Refinery29, TLC's Four Weddings, and The Knot to name drop just a few!    13 years later, and Premini Events continues to sweep couples off their feet no matter wh ere in the world they choose to tie the knot. Answering the call to action- where was the wedding planner for the modern, avant garde, trend setting, South Asian bride? Priya here! She is unafraid to challenge the norm, and will be the first voice to speak up and ask, “why not fly a hot air balloon in a no fly zone?” Redefining the role of, “traditional Indian Wedding planner,” now more fondly known as an inspiring big sister- bringing dreams to life for all who have the pleasure of entering into business with her.     Fast forward to today, and the world waits in awe as Team Premini builds the next wedding weekend to remember. You can find them anywhere across the globe serving clients from a vast array of cultural backgrounds. In her spare time, Priya cultivates various business plans, because there is always a little bit more love to be spread around. Alongside her soon to be husband and business partner Angelo, they share a passion for the arts, are lovers of authentic cuisine, build healthy businesses for fun, motivate a team of industry professionals to get the job done, and delightfully raise their fur baby Koda.     We invite you to a seat at our creative table, but fair warning: we will be making magic together no matter what the occasion, cause that’s what a little love does.
