I studied electrical engineering at CSULB graduating in 2009 with a BA in EE, but always had a passion for photography. I always had a digital camera with me and took pictures at various events. Over the years my passion grew and grew and in 2014 I started photographing weddings professionally as a second photographer.
In 2016, I launched Brandon Toma Photography and started working with my clients. I am very passionate about photography and a big believer in continuous lifelong learning.

Brandon was wonderful! Really took the time to understand what I was going for for our shoots. On my wedding day, he arrived early to make sure he had time to prep. He was patient and friendly. I felt very comfortable with him as my photographer, as that was very important to me. He was able to capture our special moments without us even knowing he was taking pics of us! We were also able to touch up the pictures promptly and were given to us much faster than expected. They all turned out great! Brandon was also very responsive with any questions I had. I’m so happy we had him as our photographer! Thank you again, Brandon!
My Wife and I found Brandon when searching for a photographer. He was very accommodating and professional the whole time! From our initial meeting, until the delivery of the photos. He worked with us to help us plan most of our wedding details. After seeing the beautiful work he had already done we knew we had to have him photograph our special day! He was able to capture every moment we discussed and deliver the photos in a timely fashion despite us living in San Francisco. Very professional and comfortable to work with! I found Brandon in my search for a photographer for my wedding (that was only a few short months away at the time). Brandon was very professional as our photographer for our wedding and our engagement shoot. The pictures were so creative and came out so great. We were so impressed to get our photos so quickly after our wedding (less than a week)! His assistants were also great and so friendly. He made it easy to pose for photos and cued us the whole time so that they looked more natural. The album that he made for us is just gorgeous and we are so excited to have that as a beautiful memory of our special day.

Brandon did a really great job in our wedding considering that we only met few minutes before the wedding. He was very friendly, charming and professional We highly recommend him, you will not regret it. The photos we received from our wedding are simply stunningly amazing we cannot stop looking at them. I really don't know how he can turn an ordinary place into an amazing place. He does have the eyes for photos that ordinary people like us don't. Brandon has truly exceeded our expectations. He is well worth every penny.
Brandon was our second shooter for our wedding. We had already worked with him for our engagement photos so we knew the quality of his work. Since I wanted Brandon to be a guest at our wedding (and not work) we asked him to recommend another photographer. Brandon ended up working our wedding, but being the second shooter, he was still able to enjoy our wedding. Having someone there you trust makes all the difference. Throughout the entire day, he was professional and hard working. He made a great team with the main photographer and it showed in the quality of the photos. Brandon once again made our special day even more special and we are so glad we had him help capture our special day.
