We really appreciated that the planning process was efficient and and effective. Carissa knew what questions to ask and things to consider to make sure that the day-of went smoothly. She is super responsive and open to whatever we wanted to do. Carissa met us at Grand Central at 8am (on a days we were keeping her out until 8pm!) so we could get the most amazing wedding pics <3 She went above and beyond to serve us.

The highlight of our experience with Carissa was just how relatable and kind she was throughout the entire shoot. We had just met her but we immediately felt like old friends. She made us feel so comfortable. Neither of us are used to being in front of a camera - in fact, we have only done one other photoshoot together before - and Carissa made us feel so natural. Everything went the way it wasn't supposed to go, yet Carissa was AMAZING, and so flexible. We changed the city location on her one day ahead of time and she was immediate in helping us nail down logistics, and travelled an extra hour to us to ensure we got the photos of our dreams.

Carissa is one of those people who has a presence and joy that brings you in. Her excitement about capturing our elopement truly added to the entire wedding experience. She perfectly captured our intimacy. Carissa's comfort behind the lens exudes out and allows her subjects to feel comfortable and content as well. Though my fiancé & I are not used to being photographed, with Carissa's encouragement we felt like models! I love the way she affirms and encourages throughout the experience, resulting in truly confident smiles and poses that were captured beautifully in our photos. Don't hesitate to hire her for your most special day! She captured such beauty, emotion, and love that we wouldn't have thought possible in two-dimensions.

This woman here is top tier. She is not only a photographer, but now a friend and an honorary bridesmaid. Aside from capturing our wedding day beautifully, she is the kindest person I've ever met. Our day was chaotic and it went by so quickly due to the weather, so there is a lot we don't recall but looking at these pictures shows me how beautiful our day really was. She helped me pack up my entire hotel room in an hour, she carried my veil on the streets of NYC, she offered us time to stop and take things in, she hailed us a cab, and she stood out in the middle of Hurricane Ida just to capture picture for us. The list goes on! She did more than required without a single complaint. She is forever appreciated by us for everything she's done from the very first moment we booked her. Thank you Carissa <3
