Just wanted to say thank you so much again Samm. You made us feel so comfortable and at ease despite all the craziness we encountered on our wedding day due to the bomb cyclone. Thank you for going above and beyond for us and assisting us with a lot of last minute changes we encountered. We absolutely love the images we’ve seen so far and can’t wait to see more. Since our wedding day we have received so many calls and messages from our family and friends in awe of what they’ve seen you capture so far. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done in the lead up to our wedding day and on the day. Such a pleasure meeting you and we would definitely recommend you to anyone heading to New York to get married.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Samm Blake as our photographer. She took unbelievable pictures and was so nice throughout the process. We met her a few times before the big day, and she was fantastic to work with. We gave her creative control and were very satisfied with how everything turned out. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a phenomenal photographer.

Samm is next level awesome. A professional, knowledgeable, easygoing, humble, photography rockstar. She made the process of working with her so fun and relaxed, both leading up to the wedding and on the weekend of. Her photography is incredible - artistic, emotion-filled, alive, and genuine. Samm photographed my wedding and it was the best investment of my life! Her approach was very unobtrusive, and she let the day flow naturally and managed to capture moments I didn’t even realise were unfolding. I was super nervous because I have never liked a photo of myself but I adore every single photo she took. Now that I have two children, one of our favourite things to do is look at our wedding album as a family. The photos are so timeless and have become our family heirlooms, we will cherish them forever.

I didn't quite know what or who I was looking for until I saw Samm's work,  it demonstrated a unique perspective, fabulous use of light and captured the emotions of  her subjects perfectly. Samm did indeed become our wedding photographer. We were extremely pleased with her approach and the final wedding photos. So much so that when we wanted to have our photos taken during my pregnancy, she was our first choice. Since then she has gone on to win many awards and her photos are shown in many major magazines. I am so pleased for her. She will continue to have a special place in my heart, as she has captured some very special times in my life.

Samm was an absolute pleasure to work with ,  and we couldn't be happier with the candid moments she captured and beautiful images delivered from our wedding day.  My husband and I had an intimate wedding reception in Brooklyn with family and close friends, we wanted a natural and authentic feel, nothing too contrived....Samm was spot on.
Samm was also super efficient and organized, guiding us every step of the way and communicating often.  Her relaxed and calm demeanor was a plus, putting everyone at ease and contributed to great candids.

Samm was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. The images she captured from our wedding were exactly what we wanted and then some. We wanted a photographer who could capture the day in a natural way, highlighting intimate moments without making anything feel staged. Every photo she took feels so organic. The editing was just enough. We didn’t want the photos to look overdone, we wanted them to feel like a documentary of our day and that’s exactly what we got. Our photos feel so magical. The lighting, movement and mood all so dreamy. If you’re looking for a photographer to find the special moments in your day, without ever having to call for her -Samm is that person. Beyond the photos, Samm is such a lovely person and she went above and beyond when it came to the details. There were so many thoughtful surprises she gave to us along the way. We would have been thrilled with just getting our photos, but we quickly realized we were more than “one day” to Samm and I’m amazed that she’s able to put such care in to every couple. We will be forever grateful to Samm for having these memories.
