Sara was completely sweet and pleasant to work with! She took the time to get to know her clients because she cares how small details come through on images and how important they are to tie into the photographs. She understands the depth of emotions and she is gifted with such artistic eyes to capture them with her photography talents. Our session was a remarkable time and couldn't be happier with our end results. We will be back!

Working with Sara was a joy! She was very responsive and marvelously flexible given that we only had about a month to plan everything for our very small ceremony on the National Mall. She walked us through her process, asked great questions to learn more about our style and what we were looking for, and even provided a great written guide full of tips. We asked her to move to several different memorials on the Mall and she had no problem making our request happen. She took lovely shots in each location, even managing to get some shots without any other people in them and finding ways to get the bright sunlight to work in our favor in the middle of the day. Between our photos at the memorials, Sara did a wonderful job of capturing the quiet moments where my husband and I just held hands and enjoyed walking together on such a lovely day! We were extremely pleased with the quality of Sara's work and her friendly and professional demeanor.

My wife and I considered no fewer than 30 photographers before we finally chose who we were going to work with. The decision was the most time-consuming choice we made - every photographer had a unique style, and prices varied wildly. We were meticulous and judicious in whittling down our list of options, enumerating the pros and cons of each. At the time, I took pride in our rigor but in retrospect I find it laughable.
I knew from the moment we added Wolfcrest to our list that Sara and her work was the best. In fact, it stood out so superior to our other considerations that to even think of pursuing her as our wedding photographer felt like a guilty luxury. Imagining our own memories framed through the lens of Sara's composition felt so indulgent that we were reluctant to even consider the possibility initially, and so we continued the 'process'. But when we finished our lengthy exercise, every pro and con enumerated, inevitably it only could have ever been Wolfcrest.
Now, our photos read like a story book. Wolfcrest elevated our wedding's niche theme to an otherwordly romantic event. In these photos, my wife resembles a renaissance ideal of beauty. Looking at our photos feels like the guilty pleasure I knew they would be the first time we saw what Sara can do.

Sara is fantastic, I am so glad that we chose her to capture our wedding day, it was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process.  From start to finish, Sara was professional, responsive, kind, and was an easy person all around to work with.  We had to postpone our wedding, and Sara seamlessly transitioned everything to our new date without hassle.

Sara listened to us during the entire process, but most importantly on our wedding day, when she definitely shined! She was a calm but fun presence, and is just a good energy to have with you on such a big day that can be stressful.  It rained on our wedding day, and Sara did not let that get in the way of her work - she listened to what we wanted (take pictures in the rain, and get cover when we felt it was too wet) -- she quickly problem solved to help us find covered places to take pictures with family, and did not let any of this fluster her process.  We had more than plenty of shots of us and with family despite the rain.

I would recommend Sara to any friends looking for a photographer for their wedding day, engagement pics, or family portraits.  Sara and her assistant were everyone's (my friends, family, and in-laws) favorite people that worked with us on our wedding day - and we have so many beautiful shots to remember them by. We first met Sara at our engagement shoot and we’re blown away by the breathtaking pictures she captured! She has a vision and she captures it in the most beautiful way!
