For one day, all your closest friends and family gather to celebrate your union, and it is going to be without a doubt one of the most cherished and memorable moments of your life. And the beauty of my work is that I have the power and privilege to freeze that time. How you go about freezing it is where the art comes in, and if you have spent some time on my site, thank you for considering my work.
To put it simply, I love what I do and feel incredibly lucky to do it for a living. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in using the visual arts to tell stories. I began as an avid drawer as a child, and as soon as I got my hands on my first camera I don't think I have put one down. I started taking pictures of friends in elementary school, and making movies in high school. I went to college and studied film, and my photography work is resultingly cinematic. I don't think there was any other option for me than to spend my life looking at the world through a lens.
