Okay y'all. If you're looking for INCREDIBLE, TIMELESS, GLAM, AND VISIONARY photos of any event or period of your life you HAVE to book with James. No matter what your location, he can make you look like you belong in the Vogue archives. He is so easy to work with and provides polite directions while at the same time making you laugh and feel entirely comfortable. My husband isn't really a photo guy but with James working with us it was a breeze. We were obsessed with the shots he got back to us, in record time may I add. He is so flexible with your needs and will capture the love between you in ways that you will seriously cherish forever. Not to mention he is SO AFFORDABLE. We got married at 20 years old and were so so discouraged looking at all of the "insta-famous" photographers and their insane prices. James blew their prices out of the water and seemed too good to be true, however when we received our photos we felt like we should have paid thousands more. His vision is next level, and the pieces he creates can be hung in your home as art, not just a family picture. We wholeheartedly loved our experience and I know you will too. Book with him and thank me later:)
James is the best photographer! For two people who hate having their photo taken, my husband and I had the best time with James! He made us feel so comfortable and the photos are INCREDIBLE. Not to mention we received a sneak peak of the photos less than 24 hours after our wedding! What more could a bride want?! Can't recommend James enough!
James was a pleasure to work with for our engagement shoot (as well as our upcoming wedding) and really took all our needs and wants into consideration when shooting for us! The pictures turned out beautifully, colors were vibrant and the subjects were well captured and told a beautiful story. He shot both digital and film for us so it was a delight to have both for keepsakes. James is very professional, pleasant, and prompt with responses to questions. He is a wonderful vendor to work with - I highly recommend working with him! Packages for photography were very reasonably priced as well.
We had a pregnancy photo shoot with James and I can't thank him enough. Photos are just magical!!! I ordered a photo book and now I can show this photos to my kid :) This is a lifetime memory for our family! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I highly recommend Jame Furman photography! I was instantly captured by his work as I searched for a specific look online. Prior to the wedding we to chance to meet once, he was very professional and we instantly got along with him so we quickly booked him. My husband and I were blown away with his artistic ability to captured the magical moments through out the wedding. His calm demeanor was refreshing as he guided our large wedding party. We will cherish our wedding images forever!

We are fr om LA and were looking online for a fine art photographer based in San Diego wh ere we held our wedding. I saw his work online and was instantly amazed by his portfolio. We didn't have a chance to meet before the wedding but even then, we booked him since we were truly captivated by his works. He was very professional and quick to respond. He was very friendly and he nicely addressed all of our questions and concerns. During the wedding day, he shot every moment so beautifully that it even exceeded our expectations! We did our wedding in a catamaran yacht, the setting is unique since we were in limited space and were sailing during the ceremony but he was really adaptable and did an incredible job capturing everything and everyone. He definitely knows how to make great photos, he directed us how to pose for the camera but what we liked most about him is how he can capture real candid moments that look truly special. We, and every single person that has seen our album, loved how every single photo turned out. He's truly the best at what he does as a photographer and the kind of person that will make you feel like having a long time friend even at first meeting. Booking him was one of the best decisions we ever made for our wedding. Again, thank you so much James!!!
We found James on Yelp by messaging a few different photographers. He replied with helpful information and most importantly he was transparent about cost. We had a couple of other photographers we were considering and talked to but we chose James because of his artistic vision, experience, flexibility, and price. I am so happy we chose him because the photos came out beyond what I envisioned my backyard wedding would look.
He is also super responsive to my texts and gave us some amazing printed photos. We also got our photos back within 10 days from our wedding with the express photo service, which is insane! I recommend James for anyone looking for an amazing creative photographer who won't break the bank. Thanks James for your professionalism and vision. We love your work and will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.

James shot my surprise proposal and it could not have worked out any better! He responded quickly to my request that was short notice and he really helped me capture such a special moment. He was so friendly and professional throughout the process and even helped me strategize on some of the details of the surprise. He was very communicative and timely and everything worked out as planned. More importantly, the pictures turned out absolutely amazing! I could not be happier having chosen James as our photographer. Thank you so much for helping create photos that we will cherish forever!
