My design philosophy has always been very instinctual. I design fr om a feeling first. I’m drawn to romance, nostalgia, history, beautiful fabrics, and things that feel a little magical or even imperfect. I love taking something that feels as though it could have existed in another time and giving it a modern spirit. I’ve never been interested in simply making a beautiful wedding dress. I want to create something that makes a woman feel something when she puts it on. There should be that moment of recognition wh ere she sees herself, but almost in this dream state of who she imagined she could be. That is really what Odylyne has always been about for me. Creating this little world where women can step outside of what bridal is supposed to look like and find something that feels deeply personal, romantic, unexpected, and completely their own.
