Could we have even gotten married without Brittney and her team?? Probably, but it wouldn't have been nearly as good. We originally had only planned on using Brittney’s day-of coordination package, but after booking a raw space venue, we decided that the extra help would be well worth the additional cost. I am SO happy we had extra time and help with Brittney; she not only has the most incredible contacts, but is also so on top of things and just an all around pleasure to work with. She was so accommodating for meetings, always gave it to us straight, and effortIessly massaged all our scattershot ideas into something tasteful, intentional, and uniquely us. She even surprised us with 3D renderings of the space so we could better visualize! Her energy and excitement were so genuine, and a constant reminder for us that we were in good hands. I remember having screening calls with other planners and feeling more overwhelmed once we got off the call, but Brittney takes away so much stress and truly makes you feel like you’re working with a friend. We love you Brittney!
If you don't think you need/want a wedding planner, think again. And then hire BLB Events. Brittney & BLB Events was the best wedding planning decision we made. Fr om our first planning call, when she sent us her incredible planning documents (the most detailed & clear lists/timelines/vendor suggestions, etc) she made us feel calm & secure. We just knew that no matter what happened, she was in our corner. And then 2020 happened...we were one of the many couples forced to postpone/reimagine our original plan and Brittney was there every step of the way with ideas, solutions & general encouragement. I honestly don't know how we'd have gotten through the postponement without her! I couldn't keep up with the changing the safety protocols but Brittney always had the answers. It was so comforting to know that she was on top of it & I didn't have to add another thing to my list! She also created a safe space for me unload my feelings, be sad, whine or complain. Having Brittney to talk to was a total game changer. She knew exactly what we were dealing with and was always there to listen, offer encouragement & support. On the day of our wedding, I woke up so calm. I knew I had nothing to worry about because Brittney had helped keep us on track throughout the planning process, everything was done & the BLB team was at the venue handling setup. I knew that I wasn't going to get a panicked phone call or text from a vendor who didn't know wh ere to go or what to do. Once we got to the venue for our first look, everything was perfect. The vendors were setting up & all the little details that Brittney & I had talked about were there (because she kept track of them all). Throughout the night, we had nothing to worry about. Brittney had it covered. A perfect example of how on top of everything she was...my dad got up to give his toast & realized that he'd forgotten his champagne glass. No problem! Brittney noticed & there she was with a glass for him. He didn't have to say a thing, didn't stop his speech, Brittney & that glass just appeared, like magic. I think that's probably the best way to sum up BLB Events: Brittney & her team are so good at their job, it looks like magic. If you want to completely enjoy your wedding & be present for the whole day without worrying about anything, hire BLB Events.
We cannot imagine our wedding without BLB events. From the first time we met with Brittney, we knew that we were in good hands. In our early discussions, she immediately understood our vision for the wedding and truly made us feel at ease throughout the planning process. She not only helped us stay organized but provided suggestions and advice that made the day flow perfectly. Brittney and her team are calm, professional, and really thought about all the small details so we were able to take a breath and enjoy the day. We are so lucky that Brittney worked closely with the venue and our vendors to make our wedding such a special event. My husband and I decided to plan our own wedding, because we thought keeping it low key would just be super easy and doable. We were completely wrong, duh, and in dire need of help. After speaking to several Day of Coordinators, my husband found Brittney and thank goodness that he did. Brittney was not only a life saver but she transformed our raw empty venue into a magical evening. She is a visionary -- our wedding venue was Cynthia Rowley's showroom (one giant space, no rooms). We decided to have our ceremony and reception all in one place but had no idea how to go about it. Brittney's extensive experience eased our fears as she came up with a detailed concept to smoothly transition through events. If there were any issues that occurred with our vendors, we had no idea about them because Brittney took care of them from the get go. She's very detail-oriented and we love that about her! From creating spreadsheets, blueprints to emails and phone calls, she took care of absolutely everything without any issues. She also made herself available to us at all times, more than we ever expected. If you are a nervous wreck like I was, you can count on Brittney to check up on you with a smile, and towards the end of the night, with a plate of food (thank goodness for that!)

Brittney and her team accomplished this and so much more. From the first meeting, Brittney was organized, provided clear direction and remarkably thorough planning documentation, and was incredibly communicative. With COVID in full swing, she kept her clients up-to-speed on all of the latest requirements and guidelines. In the six weeks leading up to our wedding, BLB was the main point of contact for our vendors from everything ranging from timelines to parking passes to COIs, and we knew we were in amazing hands. A week before the wedding, we reviewed the flow of the day, and Brittney confirmed everything down to the last detail. On the day of the event, she and her team were a kind, calming presence for everyone, end ensured that everything ran smoothly. We never worried about logistics once -- all we needed to do was have the most magical time (cheesy as that sounds!) and spend quality time with our guests. Brittney was fabulous to work with fr om start to finish! She is responsive, kind, and went above and beyond. I was grateful to have Brittney to bounce ideas off of and keep me sane throughout wedding planning. She was a rock-star with managing the day of timeline, and made sure everyone was wh ere they needed to be when. Brittney is also flexible with your planning needs - I had a unique request to help with a recessional walk from the church through Central Park to the Boathouse and she gladly took on the task, learning the route and making sure guests made it to the reception. Brittney is organized and an all around great person - I highly recommend her!

Brittney was our month-of coordinator for our August 2021 wedding at Frankies 457 Spuntino in Brooklyn. Working with Brittney and her team was an absolute pleasure, and she made it possible for us to effectively be guests at our own wedding. I recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.
We first contacted Brittney after receiving a referral fr om our venue. After interviewing several coordinators, we were impressed with Brittney’s candor, organizational aptitude, and extensive experience. As two busy people with jobs (unusual?), we were horrified by the 10,000 little things that go into planning a wedding. Despite our many spreadsheets, we were similarly overwhelmed by the spectre of unknown unknowns. Thankfully, Brittney’s online tools, responsiveness to email, and, as our wedding day approached, to-do lists and check-ins, allowed us to focus on actually-important things without getting bogged down in the minutiae that Wedding Internet says will ruin everything (does no one know calligraphy?!). She basically designed our timeline for us, because we are confused children in our late mid-thirties. Brittney also handled last-minute semi-crises seamlessly. When our cellist got a breakthrough COVID infection two days before our wedding, Brittney had already called and confirmed details with the replacement musician before we fully processed what was happening. (He’s ok, I should add.) The actual wedding day ran like clockwork. Brittney’s two coordinators worked closely with the venue to maintain a tight timeline and usher people (and us) wh ere we needed to go. They also did a beautiful job setting things up beforehand; we literally just had to drop things off with directions and show up six hours later. We spent the evening hanging out with our friends and family, and followed directions when necessary. Everyone had a wonderful time. We had a wonderful time. Brittney is a gem.

Don't even think twice about booking Brittney, just do it! We booked Brittney as our day-of coordinator, and she was incredibly organized, fun, and responsive. She brought unique ideas to our non-traditional, cocktail style wedding. Once I passed over the reigns, I literally did not have to think about a thing. She effortlessly & flawlessly organized and executed everything herself, from vendor coordination to set up and tear down and beyond. She made sure all guests (and bride/groom) were happy and well taken care of, and kept the evening flow on schedule. Brittney is absolutely worth the investment, and more!
