We cannot recommend the Shalom Imaginative enough! Nate was amazing to work with! He was incredibly responsive before the wedding, helped us create a schedule for the day, and captured our day the way it naturally unfolded (no stuffy or posed photos) and the pictures are GORGEOUS. Nate was very kind and made us feel comfortable, which is not easy for 2 people who are camera shy. If you’re on the fence JUST BOOK. Cannot thank them enough for the perfect photos of our wedding day that felt like us 100%.

NATE IS AMAZING!!!! We are beyond thrilled with our photos (both rehearsal dinner and wedding) and Nate was a total joy to work with. He was incredibly conscientious, respectful, professional, and easy to be around from our first FaceTime meeting to our wedding weekend. He also provided some helpful vendor recommendations from having lived & worked in the Joshua Tree area. Many of our wedding guests specifically commented on how comfortable they felt around him, and how cool he was. Photos with SOUL. We hired Nate from Shalom Imaginative for our Wedding up in Napa Valley and he and Caroline were an incredible team for our special day.

They did such an amazing job putting us all at ease with their low profile, and easy going nature.  Their style is non-invasive but also they will also advocate for a special moment to capture a really cool shot. I really didn't want my wedding to feel like a giant photoshoot and their photo journalist style was exactly what we were looking for.

Our wedding was off grid at a non-commercial venue, and Nate was kind enough to meet us on the property the day before to scout locations and make sure that we had all the right spots for our photos. He made beautiful choices that really helped with the flow for the day.

We got preview images just a few days after our wedding which was the perfect way to spend the first day of our honeymoon. Re-living every moment from our wedding. We absolutely LOVE our wedding photos. If you book with Shalom Imaginative. You'll be in really good hands. :)

The Shalom Imaginative are EXCELLENT photographers for any event or occasion! From the start, Nate and his team made my fiancé and I feel we were in good hands for our wedding day. They are friendly, professional and answered all our questions quickly throughout the process. Our photographer for the day was Igor. He was fun to have around and also delivered amazing photos in a big way! We were so happy with how our photos turned out that we bought two photo albums afterwards (one for us and one to gift to my mother in law). We are so happy we went with the Shalom Imaginative for our big day and highly recommend them to anyone in need of photographers!

HIRE THEM!!! The Shalom Imaginative went above and beyond to capture our wedding day the exact way we wanted on both film and digital. From their instagram account and website galleries we immediately knew that we wanted to hire them, we didn't reach out to anyone else. We actually didn't meet Vanessa until the morning of our wedding but it wasn't a problem at all -- she was immediately so warm, professional, and chill and just fit right in with everyone. Before the ceremony itself, we had a massive getting ready party with the brides-and-grooms-people all present, plus both of our families. Vanessa effortlessly captured everyone and everything even though it was just her shooting throughout the whole day. Vanessa rolled with all last-minute changes and on-the-fly pivots like a true professional. We got our preview just 2 days after our wedding which was such a gift. And the final results were better than we even expected: relaxed, candid, artistic, natural and totally us.
