When I started this business in 2008, I was focused solely on wedding photography. Truth be told, I am a person who is hopelessly in love with…love. I love the white dress, the crisp invitations, the twinkling diamonds, the beautiful flowers. I love the stories about how the couple met and how they envision the day. I love being one of the first people in the room the morning of the wedding, being a part of that magic that only a special few are invited to share. I love editing the photos after the fact and obsessing over making everything perfect to hand off to the couple, because I know these photos are part of their history forever. They will be passed down for generations…I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Over my 15-year career in this industry I would say that my love for these things has only grown, my appreciation of the intricacies matured.
