Hiring Emily was one of the best decisions I made planning my wedding! She is so friendly, warm and makes you feel so comfortable in front of a camera. A photographer is such a key member on your wedding day and I would choose Emily over and over again! She was organized, quick and it honestly felt like I had one of my friends next to me snapping photos of my big day! When my photos arrived after the wedding, I was amazed by how beautifully she captured each moment. From the big moments of the first look, to the mini details of our table arrangement, she captured them all. If you are on the fence on who you want to use as your photographer, you will not regret hiring this woman! She is perfection!

Emily was everything and more than I could have ever wanted for a wedding photographer. After viewing her blog and Instagram I instantly was drawn to her vision and style. Once we spoke, her positive and passionate personality sealed the deal! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot and had us laughing the whole time. On the day of our wedding she was such a calming and caring force throughout the whole day. To look back at our wedding photos is to look back at all the raw, real, magical, and blissful moments of the day we became husband and wife. I will forever be thankful to emily for giving us the greatest wedding gift...the gift of reliving our beautiful day through her timeless art.

I searched high and low for a photographer for engagement photos and Emily Magers was recommended to me by another high-end photographer. Emily was so kind and organized via email when describing what to expect for the day of the photoshoot. My fiance was not thrilled with the idea of taking engagement photos, but once he met Emily, her joyful and bubbly spirit engaged him and helped him enjoy the day. Emily knows how to place each person in the photo without making it looked staged. She is highly skilled with knowing the best backdrop and lighting for each photo. We truly couldn’t be happier with the photos we received from her! She also got the photos to us 1-2 weeks after the shoot which was incredible. I highly recommend using Emily for any of your photo needs!

Emily is the absolute best! The second we met her, it was as if we had been friends for years. She has such a warm and caring heart and is a doll to be around. She is easy to work with and makes awkward poses and situations fun and natural. When it came to the actual wedding day, she was extremely organized and knew how to handle all the personalities coming at her. The sheer fact that she was able to wrangle our groomsmen in a timely manner blew our mind. Most importantly she captured all the real raw moments that you want and need from your wedding day. It went by so fast, so having those pictures is priceless. Emily caught everything in such a beautiful way and for that, and for her, we will always be grateful.

I don't even know where to start with Emily. When first meeting her, I felt like I had known her my entire life. It felt like meeting up with an old friend; her soul just exudes true joy and authenticity. I felt as though she was able to capture the true and genuine heart of my husband and me. She is able to put anyone she meets at ease and has a gift for making you feel completely yourself. I could tell that Emily valued my heart and I truly value her heart as well.

Emily is INCREDIBLE - from the first phone call through delivery of photos (and ideas for photo albums), she is there for you not just as a photographer, but a friend. She became an integral part of our wedding without distracting or bothering, but rather adding the perfect layer of fun and calm, keeping everyone's nerves at bay, helping making things perfect, and most importantly capturing the VERY ESSENSE of the wedding!! Her skills and photographs speak for themselves. She is truly an artist and we could not be happier that we went with Em!

Seriously, working with Emily is like having a best friend who is also a seriously talented professional photographer. She always has your best interest at heart and really get's to know you and your tribe to ensure that she can capture the essence of your day. With the challenges of covid, I changed my wedding plans three times over and she was quick to help me with selecting vendors and even helped me come up with a timeline for our wedding day when I no longer could use my wedding planner for our final wedding location. She was so attentive day of and made sure that I was comfortable but still looked stunning...even with a sprained ankle. (I KNOW). At one point, minutes before the ceremony started, she directed the venue staff to rearrange all of the chairs to face a different way when noisy spectators threatened to disturb the ceremony from across the hall. Emily is not only there to make sure she captures immaculate photos of your day, but she is the creator of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. My husband and I will be forever grateful.

Emily Magers is THE ultimate photographer! I can't recommend her enough... She made my fiancé and I feel completely comfortable, is sooo quick to respond, totally hypes you up throughout the entire session and is 10000% worth every penny. She gave us an experience, not just a photo session and because of that, I consider her a bestie haha. But for real, I am obsessed with her and her work. I look at the photos she took of us every day. 10 STARS!!!! Love you, em!!!

When I’m not out photographing some of the most beautiful souls on the planet, you can usually find me watching New Girl; dancing in the kitchen with my husband, Jeff, while cooking dinner; or creating a space for community to dwell in our home. Jeff and I love being outdoors but also snuggling up on the couch by the fireplace. I'm always looking for new home decor, the next dog to pet, anything rust-colored, or an excuse to take an after-breakfast nap (I promise it’s a thing).And whether you and I are getting vulnerable over coffee, hitting the road for an adventure, or telling your story through photos, I’m here to make sure you feel fully seen and deeply loved.
