Will is professional, easy to work with, and so nice. He and his additional photographer were always on time, they were both very clear with their directions for the wedding party/family positions and poses and they were SO patient when we still struggled haha! He was probably the ONLY vendor that didn’t make me want to pull my hair out! The previews we have received are so lovely and I cannot wait to see them all. My husband and I loved working with Will and would hire him again in a heartbeat. William West Studio is definitely worth the money you will pay!!

We cannot recommend Will enough. He and another photographer he hired to help were present on our wedding day and they both were professional, caring, kind and so easy to work with. Throughout the entire planning process William was attentive to detail, prompt with communication and genuinely the least stressful aspect of the whole shebang. Worth his weight in gold, worth every penny you spend! We have gotten a few previews back already and they are so beautiful. If you want a top tier photographer, this is the guy for you.

We hired William West (for our November 2023 wedding) after seeing his portfolio online - we loved his photojournalistic and candid style and wanted our wedding day photos to highlight the emotion and joy we were sharing with our loved ones. Will was professional and one of the most responsive vendors we worked with throughout our planning process. Will is incredibly detail-oriented and deeply cares about his work. We met on the phone before wedding day to run through the timeline of events and he brought a second shooter, Jessie (also top-notch!) to capture the evening. Our pictures are such high-quality and show the beautiful, candid moments that we experienced during our wedding day. I have been constantly looking back at them and re-living the day again and again. I am so thankful to have such beautiful photographs to cherish forever. We are blown away by the quality and can't recommend Will enough!

Will and Jenn were amazing!!! We never had to worry about how photography would turn out on our big day. From our first call to follow up call, Will was always easy to reach, communicative and made us feel we could fully trust him with his vision. His website portfolio speaks for itself! He has a great eye for candids and capturing special moments. Looking back at the pictures we received, there’s some my (now) husband doesn’t even remember a photographer being there. He works his magic and fits in with the crowd :)

I can’t say enough good things about William and his services. He was amazing to work with and really captured our wedding day beautifully. He responded quickly if o had questions leading up to the wedding, and he was even able to find a second shooter 3 weeks before our big day. We got the preview of our photos 2 days after our wedding and they blew me away! I can’t stop looking at them, and I’m excited to get the rest back soon!

I’ve spent over two decades photographing weddings, always mindful that I’m witnessing one of the most important days in someone’s life. I’m lucky I get to do what I love to do. My approach is simple: stay out of the way and keep things easy and laid-back. I’m not there to stage moments, but to notice what’s already there: the quiet glances, the laughter, the in-between seconds that often matter the most. With a background in graphic communications, I’ve worked with publications including Rolling Stone, Architectural Digest, Bon Appétit, and The New Yorker, and spent time on staff at a NYC-based magazine. My wedding work has taken me across the country and abroad, with images published in Vogue, Tatler, GQ, and The New York Times. At home, life revolves around my wife and our three daughters, and I try to bring that same care and thoughtfulness to every wedding I photograph. Thanks for taking a look at my work.
