Every love story has its unique charm, and the tale of Adriana and Kyle is enchanting. Adriana recalls with a twinkle in her eye, "Kyle and I met in middle school but we went to two different high schools. It wasn’t until after college when I recognized Kyle at a mutual friend's birthday brunch in the city that we started dating." With a smile that reaches her eyes, she adds, "Kyle and I started dating a month later and have been together for 7 years this October."
Adriana, with a playful smirk, reminisces, "Kyle completely surprised me when he proposed to me at my sister and brother-in-law's house in September 2021. He told me we were going there for a dinner party and on their front lawn he got down on one knee while the rest of our family and friends watched from inside the house. I was so surprised and so happy!"
The excitement in Adriana's voice is palpable as she shares, "My vision for my wedding was to be timeless but unique. I wanted everyone to walk into that room and be completely stunned at the decor."
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Mindy Weiss and Kate Bock, they crafted a reception that was quite a fairy tale. The couple couldn't help but gush, "We saw everything we have worked so hard towards, all the planning with our vendors, it was beyond what we could have imagined. The room was magical and had the most amazing vibe!"
From the elegant designs of Marissa Burke at Sonny Day Studios that graced their wedding invitations to the careful selection of rings, every aspect was chosen with love. Adriana's ring danced harmoniously with her engagement piece, while Kyle proudly donned a family heirloom - his grandfather's wedding ring.
Draped in the artistic creation of Ines De Santo, Adriana was the epitome of bridal grace. "From the moment I started to look, I knew I wanted something simple but with a wow factor," she says. And girl, did she find it at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset! With the final touch of her vintage-chic earrings and a delicately crafted veil, she was a vision. And the flowers? "I choose orchids and more of an organic arrangement," composed by the talented Elegantize Events and Productions.
While the bride was lost in her world of lace and pearls, Kyle and his band of brothers were striking poses at the Ravel Hotel's groom suite. The ambiance was light, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and those pre-wedding jitters.
The first look is the quiet before the storm, where time seemingly stops. Against the city's skyline on the Ravel Hotel's rooftop, Kyle was rendered speechless. "Kyle immediately started crying. He told me he couldn’t believe I was going to be his wife and how beautiful I looked."
Adriana, lost in the moment, recalls, "I thought about how proud I was that this man was going to be my husband."
The couple chose the majestic backdrop of the Ravel Hotel, letting the city's heartbeat and the iconic 59th Street bridge witness their pre-wedding glow.
Amidst soft tunes of Beethoven’s 5 Secrets on the rooftop of the Ravel Hotel, Adriana and Kyle exchanged vows. Adriana recounts, "My dad stopped me at the top of the aisle to take in the moment of all the people who showed up to celebrate Kyle and I’s love. I will forever remember that and seeing Kyle waiting for me at the end of the aisle."
Following their heartwarming vows, the two retreated to the balcony of their suite, stealing moments of joy, love, and champagne toasts.
Their wedding palette was a dreamy mix of neutrals and blushes, encapsulating chic elegance. "Kyle and I met again in the city and we wanted our venue to reflect that with the beautiful city views," Adriana muses.
With the soft crooning of "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison enveloping them, the couple swayed into their new life. Special moments were flavored with signature cocktails - Kyle's robust Manhattan and Adriana's spirited espresso martini. The cake, an edible masterpiece, was courtesy of Dortoni in East Norwich.
In parting, the couple's gratitude for their vendors was palpable, "All my vendors were super present and helpful throughout the whole process. They made me feel so excited every step of the way!”
