Their initial online encounter blossomed into a profound connection that has only deepened with time. Now, over three cherished years together, every moment they share is a testament to the unexpected gifts life brings.

“I proposed to Shannon at the location of our first date, which was a little playground and swing set near her apartment on the UWS. I created a little scavenger hunt, with clues that led her to some of our favorite locations, with the last one pointing her to the playground where I was waiting to propose. It was great, and her friends really helped me pull it off. Shannon didn't quite know how the scavenger hunt was going to end until she saw me in the park with the swing set covered in balloons with a photographer waiting!”, Nik remembers.

“We both knew that we didn't want a traditional wedding or wedding ring - we wanted to celebrate with a small group of our closest friends and the jewelry that goes with it to be unique and personalized to us.”

We fell in love with a style of ring that was popular in Antwerp, Belgium -- very textured, hand-crafted, and beautiful. We traveled to Belgium in April to get our rings.”

Their photoshoot was an exhilarating blend of luxury and style, thanks to the magnificent car. Set against the sumptuous interior of the car, each shot captured a unique essence of sophistication and allure. The experience was further heightened by renting the car, adding to the thrill of the day. The entire session was immortalized against the exquisite backdrop provided by CCC Manhattan. The blend of a high-end car and the art of photography resulted in a series of mesmerizing images that will be cherished for years to come.

“We had a little ceremony in May on Little Island with our closest friends and family. We both felt that too many weddings are by the book and mostly done for the sake of the parents. We instead wanted to have something that really felt more like us, felt looser, felt more loving and representative of the way we live our day-to-day lives.”
