As a professional photographer myself, our wedding photography was one of the first tasks I took care of in our wedding planning, and I was completely impressed with Carlie at every step of the process. Her photography is technically and artistically outstanding, showing a very keen eye for clean composition and tight color palettes, and she was able to cater her shooting to a nice range of styles and environments. She also offered very flexible packages and delivery options, all at very reasonable prices for the superb quality of work - we never felt pressure to order more than we wanted or needed. Carlie handled the wedding day very professionally, and was a warm and subtle addition to our event. Highly recommended!

Your search for an amazing photographer has ended. Carlie did our wedding and she did a stellar job. From the moment we met her we knew we were going to work well with her. She is very professional and at the same time very down to earth, friendly and easy to work with. Her prices are reasonable and more than fair considering the finished product. When it came to the wedding day she had an extra shooter which was key. She has a background in photo journalism which is exactly what we were looking for. We loved the candid shots that she captured and the artistic shots of the wedding, much better than the typical posed pictures (although she did those for us as well). I can't say enough good things about Carlie and her work. I highly, highly recommend using her for any professional photography work, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!

Carlie was the best decision that we made by far for our wedding and it's not just about her incredible photographs - her and Gabe truly added to the joy of the day. Her relaxed and bright energy is contagious and she has that magical ability to put people at ease (which was great for those not used to having so many pictures taken of them but also just generally on what can sometimes be a stressful day). It's so clear that she loves what she does and it's really incredible - she will do anything for that perfect shot and she'll do it with a smile on her face! I am honestly inspired to see someone who is so passionate about what they do and so talented. Our pictures are amazing and not only did our families and bridal party talk about how much fun it was to have Carlie and Gabe on our wedding day, but they couldn't stop gushing about our photos. They are both masterful task masters as well - making sure to get through our robust shot list and get all the photos we wanted (sunset, dancing etc.) without making it seem like this big thing we're all waiting around for or a chore. When Carlie and Gabe shot our post-ceremony and sunset photos, they really made it feel like we were having a quite few minutes to ourselves, which were some of my favorite moments of the day (and we have gorgeous photos to remember it by too). They felt like great friends by the end of the whole process. I am so grateful that we found Carlie.

I've been meaning to write reviews for my amazing vendors for my wedding this past summer because I loved every single one, especially Carlie. She was the perfect photographer for my husband and I and she gave us incredible photos for our engagement and our wedding day. She is so much fun and made us feel comfortable when we aren't ones to pose for photos often. She was creative in her posing, and shots and had a fantastic eye for stunning photos. She handled our bridal party and families (both can be a handful) with ease and made us all laugh in the process. One of my favorite things she did was capture a photo of the entire wedding (guests included) right after the ceremony from a hilltop with all of us cheering. It is my favorite photo of our wedding and so much fun to see all of our guests.

Aside fr om picking a venue, picking a photographer was the hardest part of wedding planning for us. We decided not to have a videographer, so I researched a ton of photographers to avoid any sort of horror story that I had heard from other couples. Carlie came highly recommended from our wedding coordinator. I had 5-10 photographers that I was researching but I always came back to Carlie's website and Instagram. There was just something about her style that really spoke to me. We had initially opted to not do engagement photos, but once we booked with Carlie we decided to do them. I felt like it would be good to get to know her before the big day. I am so glad we ended up doing them, she made us feel extremely comfortable with her laidback but professional attitude and took the time to get to know us a bit. She even let us bring our dog along, which was a huge plus for us! On the big day, both her and her husband Gabe shot the wedding. My husband and I were amazed at how well they work together. Carlie leads and Gabe just knows wh ere he needs to be, it was almost like they were communicating telepathically. We absolutely LOVE both our engagement and wedding photos and are so glad that we made the investment that we did. My husband and I hired Carlie as our wedding photographer. Carlie and Carlie's husband, Gabe, were truly amazing. Picking a photographer was one of the most important decisions for us, as the pictures are what you have to remember your special day. I interviewed about 6 different photographers. I knew after talking with Carlie and looking at her website/instragram that we wanted to hire her. Carlie photographed our rehearsal dinner/ welcome party and wedding. Carlie has an artist's eye and Master level inner resources at play which produce beguiling results. She is able to make average people look like photogenic actors/models. Of course this does not mean she makes everyone a 10 in terms of beauty. This means she makes everyone look like they have that extra layer of energetic sparkle that sets actors and models a part fr om regular people. This is NOT the photographer to choose if you prefer the typically cheesy wedding or studio portrait photography wh ere everyone looks awkward and unattractive.
