Ian and his team are amazing!! A total must book. He was so communicative and easy to work with in the lead up to our wedding, and the pricing was super straight forward with the ability to be flexible and add on a la carte options as well. He totally understood the look and feel we were going for and was SO FUN, energetic and engaging on the day of our wedding. Our guests loved him and made sure we knew that the days following the wedding! He picked out the perfect spots, had rain contingency plans and truly was just the most fun person to hang out with. We never felt awkward or bored taking photos and the results are so timeless, bright and you can really feel the energy through the poses he had us do and the shots he took. By far and away one of the best vendors we booked!!
I can't speak highly enough of Ian and Rempel Photography!! Not only were we planning our Chicago wedding from Los Angeles, but we navigated all the stressors of a pandemic-induced postponement in partnership with them. Ian went above and beyond to be helpful - offering to visit locations in-person for us, accommodating us completely when we were able to be in Chicago for a whirlwind planning weekend, and generally just making the whole process not just logistically simple but fun. We had so much fun with him the day of the wedding that my bridal party is still lowkey trying to befriend him in real life, and the photos he took are to DIE FOR. I can't get over how beautifully he captured the best day of our lives, and I'm so grateful to him for that. Thank you Ian!!
Ian and his team were truly a dream to work with during our Lincoln Park engagement session as well as our Ravenswood wedding at Artifact Events. We worked specifically with Alex B. and McKayla B., and both were amazing! Throughout each session, both nabbed beautiful portraiture and equally gorgeous candids. They truly made two IT nerds feel like royalty. If you're looking for photos that you'll treasure forever, Rempel is it!
There is no one else who we would have wanted to capture the most special day of our lives. Ian is an incredible photographer, capturing every moment. Our photos turned out absolutely incredible. My husband and I cannot recommend Rempel Photography enough! Ian is truly phenomenal with his work and knows how to capture the most natural, bright and fun photos. His bubbly personality and fun demeanor make all the difference. We were (and still are) blown away by his amazing photos from our wedding day and our bridal party and guests are still marveling, too…not to mention the quick turnaround. Ian captured the most stunning yet natural photos without being in your face and forcing poses. Booking Ian was easily our best wedding decision and we are so grateful that he captured our special day that we will cherish forever.
From the first time my husband and I met Ian, we knew we were going to love working with him. Ian has an incredible energy and personality that allows you to relax and be comfortable almost instantly. On our wedding day Ian arrived with the same energy and it made the morning much less stressful. We were also pleasantly surprised by how efficient all of our formal photos were done and it allowed us to have added time to spend with wedding guests. Ian delivered a preview of our photos to us within the week and we blown away by how he captured our day. The feeling and energy that was present during the wedding came through in each photo. The second photographer also took group shot photos of our guests during cocktail hour and we loved getting to see everyone even at times we were not present. Best of all Ian incorporated himself so well with Gavin and I, our bridal party, and our guests. He knew how to direct large groups of people while throwing in a joke or pumping up the energy. If you are looking for a photographer who creates beautiful photos but also brings incredible liveliness to your day, Ian is your guy! We were so lucky to have been able to work with him!
Ian was the best. Generally, I HATE taking pictures and Ian made it fun and stress-free. I plan to and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer. The engagement photos and the wedding photos turned out great. All of my groomsman enjoyed him as well, especially compared to some of the other photographers we have been exposed to during the wedding rush. 6 stars if possible.
To say we loved working with Ian would be an understatement. Not only are his pictures amazing, but his positive and happy attitude was so fun to be around. Made our special day even better. Would recommend to everyone and anyone!
