Our first time doing a professional shoot was with Susan. It was a styled shoot so we were extra worried that we’d get awkward that our photos wouldn’t turn out as amazing as she wanted, but she made it super easy to the point where we were putting minimal effort into posing. The second time was just as fun and amazing. She is genuine, sweet, fun, creative, and she knows what she’s doing! You need a Susan in your life!

Susan did an exquisite job with my wedding ceremony. I did a good amount of research on diff photographers and asked opinions from a trusted friend who is a photographer but was an important part of my wedding party before hiring Susan. Susan did my ceremony and I had a friend do my reception who is still learning. There was a massive difference in angles, editing and tones (especially). I didn’t realize how important it was until having my reception experience & another experience from a diff friend taking my photos that you DO NOT want to hire a friend who is learning or novice in experience for such an important day. That being said I have so much love for friends willing to use their expensive equipment, time and energy and I’m grateful for the pictures regardless. However, I’m going to list out some important aspects of Susan’s overall performance that is superior to other photographers. When she showed up she directed- this is super important bc I’m not a super model, most average people don’t know how to pose and don’t spend hours researching different poses and styles. She’s good at directing and angling you for your most flattering pictures. She even does well with capturing amazing angles during the candid actual ceremony. She uses editing and tones that are natural/creme colored which are great for skin while keeping authenticity of the images. Her color palate/editing she uses it flattering for fine lines and weight in arms and other conscious areas bc she doesn’t use harsh tones, something a lot of photographers mistakenly do (which is the most important aspect, let’s be real). She knows what she is doing all around and the confidence is necessary for the big day. She had a solid contractual agreement that she sticked to on timeline of when pictures will be returned, she is punctual during and after the event and she is reliable. There’s no hidden costs and she does payment chunks based off % and time till the big day (don’t reference me exact, it’s in her contract/website). Her website is easy to use, and she gives an exact quote once you give her a location and amount of time for the pictures. I’m extremely grateful I chose her for such an important day, and she’s well worth every penny. ❤️ I would use her again 10/10.

Susan was super fun and easy to work with. We booked our engagement photos with her and still love looking at them months later! She played music for us during our session and made the smiles in our pictures seem effortless. She sent us previews of our session within an hour after our session because she was so excited to edit them and we also received the rest of the pictures in a timely manner. Overall, we had a great experience with Susan and we would love to book any future sessions with her and would definitely recommend her to our families and friends. THANK YOU SO MUCH, SUSAN.

What an amazing experience! From beginning to end, Susan is an amazing photographer with a super friendly demeanor and amazing ideas for capturing some truly wonderful photos! She is quick to respond to messages, has an easy booking system, and was so easy to work with! She truly thinks about the experience from beginning to end and works hard to make her clients happy! The confidence boost that I experienced working with her was amazing! And we didn’t have to wait long to get pictures back from her! Hands down, I would use her time and again for my photography needs!

Susan was amazing to work with! We did a family photo shoot that included my husband and two young daughters (7 years old & 3 months old). The oldest was curiously running around the studio and the baby was cranky. However, this didn’t phase Susan. She was super sweet, understanding, and very patient with us. She made it really easy and fun for us! Another thing I loved about Susan is how she continued to keep in touch afterwards and sent sneak peaks until the entire album was done. She also showed before & after editing out little imperfections in the background from the studio. That was very reassuring to know that she pays attention to small details. The quality of her work is one of a kind. I highly recommend her!
