We hired Karis as our photographer for our wedding, and we LOVE each and every photo. All of our family members and friends continue to compliment how gorgeous, creative, and natural our photos are. Karis is so sweet, and made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day. She gave us these beautiful photos that will last a lifetime.
We were looking for a professional photographer for our elopement wedding and found Karis. She was wonderful and talented and was worth every cent if not more for the photos she took of our special day.
Karis is so warm and full of energy, that she immediately put two camera-shy people at ease. From our engagement session in Brooklyn to the big day itself, she had an eye for spotting unique locations. We were impressed by the variety of our photos - from bold and dramatic shots, to the candid, little moments. We also highly appreciated how organized and responsive Karis is. When there's a lot of moving pieces to manage, it gave us such relief to know that Karis is reliable, shows up on time, and is communicative. She even sent us sneak peek photos the next day - a wonderful surprise! We would highly recommend Karis as a photographer.
Karis photographed our wedding (and an engagement shoot) and did an incredible job! Our photos are natural looking, creative, and unique - capturing our wedding day perfectly. Karis found different ways to have us pose and in unexpected places. She and her second shooter, Jeanie, were a pleasure to spend our wedding day with! They went with the flow, helped get group photos quickly and easily, and went above and beyond - fanned us on a very hot day and tied bow ties. If you’re looking for a natural light photographer, we highly recommend Karis!!
My husband and I are so glad we found Karis to capture our special day! Probably similar to the majority of you, my husband and I do not do well in front of a camera (we get so nervous). Karis was able to make us feel so comfortable and gave great directions. Our engagement and wedding photos all came out so amazing and I couldn't imagine doing this with anyone else!
Karis was the absolute BEST!!! From the moment we spoke to her on the phone, we knew she would be the perfect fit for our big day. Her and Miles' warm and easy-going demeanors were the perfect fit for my husband and I, as well as our guests. Our photos came out even better than we imagined, we cannot thank the HeyKaris team enough! It was the best day ever.
