I cannot say enough about Karen Wise Photography. With only a few weeks' notice, she was able to photograph my son's wedding in NYC and captured the most spectacular city and park backdrops imaginable!  She is beyond professional and has an amazing eye for detail. I found her via my son's party planner but also loved the vibe of her Instagram. I could not be more pleased with the results. The photos are magnificent! Karen is a "10" and you can rest assured that whether your ceremony is large or small, she will capture amazing photos of your special day.

I highly recommend Karen as your wedding photographer! She was extremely professional and easy to work with. Our wedding was in Brooklyn and she knew all the amazing locations to take photos. My husband and I are no where near modeling status and she was able to help us with poses for our wedding. She delivered the photos in a timely fashion and all our wedding photos were gorgeous!!! Now our problem is picking out the best ones! Can't thank you enough to her and her second photographer, Alison!

We chose Karen as our photographer because we fell in love with the vibrant photos we saw on her website, and she completely delivered! After we had to adjust the date, location, and size of our wedding twice because of COVID, Karen was completely flexible and communicative throughout the process. On the day of our small backyard wedding, Karen interacted seamlessly with the other vendors (and my family members). Her style is quiet and methodical, and she left it up to us in terms of the number of staged portrait shots we wanted to do. The results were amazing -  often it seems like wedding photos can be “washed out,” but Karen’s photos are full of color and vivacity. She has a real skill for capturing great candids, too, which we really appreciated. We’ve booked her for our big one-year-later celebration later this year, and we couldn’t be happier to work with her again.

Karen took my engagement and wedding photos, and both will be keepsakes I will treasure daily for the rest of my life. Before the wedding, Karen helped me create the perfect shot list that made me feel like I could actually enjoy my wedding day and wouldn't get pulled away from the fun for a million unnecessary photos (and the plan really worked!). Karen has such versatile skills! For example, she shot both film and digital throughout my wedding day, and she was wonderful with posed as well as candid photos. So many of my guests told me after the wedding that Karen (and her second photographer!) was super friendly and they enjoyed being photographed by her. I loved spending the day with Karen, she made me and my wedding party feel very comfortable in front of the camera. It's been about a month since I've had my photos back, but I still have friends texting me their favorite photos of themselves and other guests and saying how amazing and beautiful the photos are. Also, Karen has been featured in prestigious magazines and blogs, so you know you're with a super talented professional.

We are so excited we got to work with Karen! She took beautiful photos of our wedding and managed to put us completely at ease throughout the day. A miracle! She seemed to be able to magically find the unique qualities of us as a couple and to capture those in her photos. Our photos feel very personal and special and really capture the day! We definitely felt like we were in good hands through the entire planning process with Karen as well. She is a consummate professional. We highly recommend!
