I’m Tom! I am a documentary photographer based in NYC. A wedding day is filled with such a range of emotions - happiness, joy and excitement, of course - but also anxiety, frustration, even sadness. The intimacy in these moments is so powerful and it’s up to me to transpose these feelings onto a photograph. I know at any moment there is the potential to capture something special; it is all about observing and looking for moments to fall into place. I work to capture an essence, a time, a place and make the image as authentic as that particular moment. This is how I can truly show my couples’ personalities through my images.
