We found Katelyn through another wedding photographer that recommended her, and I’m SO glad they did! Not only is Katelyn an amazing person to work with and know, her photos/editing style was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something with natural editing and overall timeless styling. She absolutely knows how to make you comfortable in front of the camera, and having her as our wedding photographer was almost like having a friend taking all our memories. She has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with, and if I ever have photography needs again I will always contact her.

We found Katelyn by posting on reddit in search of a photographer who could come to the Boston area for a wedding that was, well, not as absurdly priced as Boston-located photographers. However, if she was priced as such, she’d be worth every penny! Luckily Katelyn is both competitively priced and has a wonderful personality. It was a joy getting to know her over video-chats, and when we visited North Carolina we were able to do an engagement shoot with her prior to our wedding, which was very special.

I wanted an emphasis on candid and natural photos, without the wedding feeling like it was going from one forced photoshoot to the next in a jammed-tight schedule. Katelyn made that happen, and it felt like I just had another good friend with me on my special day. She caught natural, special moments and mixed in just the right amount of posed pictures that she lightly directed so they felt and looked natural. I’m definitely one of those people who has no idea what to do with herself when a camera is pointed at her, and Katelyn really helped with that and provided enough direction to allow my husband and I to find a natural flow with each other.

Honestly, it is rare to come away from a vendor exchange (?) with a new friend, but I feel that I lucked out and not only will have a gorgeous set of wedding photos, but a great friend. I had a lot of social anxiety about the wedding, and from the early planning stages to the day of, Katelyn was a great support and helped me enjoy the day. Her suggestions not only created beautiful shots, but allowed my husband and I to have a quiet few moments reconnecting in the midst of the crazy day, including a fairy light lit, intimate first dance in a courtyard.

She sent us a sneak peak within a few days of the wedding, which consisted of a beautiful set of images that captured the day wonderfully. We are really looking forward to seeing the finished set!

Wow, where to start! First let me say Katelyn is AMAZING, and not just as a photographer but a human too. She was so great from start to end. She's so down to earth and worked with my budget when we had our initial consultation. Then from their forward everything went great. You can tell she really tries to get to know her clients. She did amazing for work for both our engagement photos and our wedding. I mean she made my husband and I feel like we were Vogue. When it came to family portraits my family kept compliment how well and efficient she was. I mean with me and my husbands immediate family were like almost 50+ people, and she wrangled all of them to get them done. Also she did an amazing job at taking in moment photos. I could honestly go on and on about why you should hire her.

I am so happy I stumbled across Katelyn on Instagram. SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Me and my husband hope to take annual pictures with her! So long story short, hire her so she can make your aesthetic dreams come true!

If you are looking for a true artist who knows their craft as a photographer who will also make you feel incredible, confident, and radiant throughout the whole process look no further than Katelyn. After meeting Katelyn through one of my friends’ weddings I knew I needed her as my photographer on my special day. My husband and I did the whole gauntlet of photos with Katelyn - she even went the extra mile (pun intended) and came out to our bachelor party in New Orleans. We trusted Katelyn time and time again to handle our photography needs and we were never disappointed! She knows how to give direction, but also how to listen to a style or vibe your going for and interpret it beautifully. She is a gift to work with and the product - well her samples from my wedding yesterday absolutely speak for themselves of her work’s amazingly high quality!

Katelyn has an incredible talent and we are so unbelievably lucky we managed to snag her for our wedding. Every single one of our engagement and wedding photos is utter perfection. As someone with a healthy level of self consciousness, I am in awe of our individual and couple shots because she made us look so dang good. She story tells and sparks joy with her craft by capturing the full range of the day from the emotional ceremony to the party-mode reception. And finally, her detail shots are to die for, including for our venue in Washington DC she hadn't seen before. AND she does all of this with such a calm, encouraging, and hilarious flair that's just so uniquely Katelyn.
