Vivi is truly the best photographer my husband and I have ever worked with. She consistently goes above and beyond our expectations, from the planning process all the way through the wedding day. She always comes to meetings well-prepared, is highly professional, and is incredibly responsive whenever we have questions.

She is essentially a one-stop shop for all things wedding related. She has her own bridal studio with a beautiful selection of dresses, an amazing eye for detail that makes every photo shine, and strong connections with top-tier vendors including DJs/MCs, florists, hair and makeup artists, caterers, and more.

We chose not to hire a wedding planner, and instead fully trusted Vivi to guide us in building the right vendor team based on her extensive experience in Bay Area weddings. She has a sharp eye for design and detail, helped me find the most beautiful ceremony dress, and gave thoughtful advice on styling for the bride, groom and wedding party. She would also share ideas for hairstyles or floral designs she came across that matched our vision, and I loved how aligned we were throughout the entire process. By the time we had our final planning meeting, we had already worked through most of the details thanks to her guidance and the “homework” she assigned us, which helped us think through every aspect of the wedding day.

She also reviewed everything carefully in advance and prepared us for situations we hadn’t even considered like positioning during the ceremony to avoid harsh sunlight exposure.

On the wedding day, Vivi gave clear and helpful direction so we could pose naturally and comfortably. She even brought a small toy to grab the kids’ attention during photos which was so thoughtful. Her fluency in Korean also helped guide my in-laws during family photos. Her entire team was warm and friendly, and one of her assistants even helped sew the back of my dress to make it better fit.

Within a week, we received our sneak peek photos, and they were absolutely stunning. The colors of our butter-yellow garden wedding came through so beautifully in every shot.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Choosing Vivi was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is truly more than just a photographer - she is a friend and a trusted partner throughout the entire wedding journey. We are so lucky to have her!

Vivi and Benji were an absolute joy to work with! From our very first call, we were impressed by Vivi’s attention to detail, but what truly blew us away was how much heart they put into our day. We had a traditional Nepalese wedding, and they went above and beyond to research our culture, ensuring they understood every aspect of the ceremony.
Planning a wedding from California to Hawaii without ever seeing the venue was a challenge, but their expertise made the process so much easier. They even took time to visit the venue ahead of the big day to scout the perfect spots, which really spoke to their dedication. It was totally worth bringing them out to Hawaii!

On the day of, they made us and our families feel so welcome and comfortable. It genuinely felt like having friends by our side—Benji even stepped in to help tie my bow tie! Despite our wedding being 9 hours long, their happiness and energy never faded. They even came prepared with a collage of inspiration pictures to ensure our poses complemented our outfits.

We were so excited to see the photos and videos, and were completely surprised by how  the sneak peeks arrived! We are already thinking about what other lifetime events they can capture for us. We highly recommend Vivi and Benji for your big day!

Vivi’s experience shines through in everything she does. We had Vivi and Benji as our photographer team for our civil ceremony. Fr om the very beginning, her communication was excellent, and she helped us feel fully prepared well before our session even started. She navigated our City Hall ceremony with total expertise, knowing exactly wh ere the best lighting would be for the specific time of day and season. She took all the stress out of the logistics by planning a detailed timeline and even suggesting the perfect lunch spots for us to refuel.

We also did an outdoor shoot at the Legion of Honor and were absolutely blown away by the fantastic results. Vivi has a way of making you feel completely at ease; we spent the whole session laughing, which made for such natural photos. I know that when we look back at these pictures many years from now, we will still be so grateful. We will cherish these memories forever. We feel so lucky to have had her as our photographer!

Vivi helped us with our marriage ceremony photos at SF City Hall, and she is an absolute expert. She knows every detail of how to capture beautiful photos at SF City Hall, and her friendly personality makes her incredibly easy to communicate with. We only had about a month to prepare for our wedding ceremony, which was quite stressful, but she guided us through the entire preparation process and helped us feel fully ready in a short amount of time.

Vivi was actually the one and only photographer I spoke to for my wedding, but from the moment we first spoke with the team at La Venus Studio, we knew we were in good hands. Vivi and her crew were incredibly friendly, genuine, and responsive throughout the entire process. There is a very well-organized process of brainstorming what the bride and groom wants from the photography so I had a very enjoyable time going through my inspirations and ideas. In addition, Vivi’s team doesn’t just show up on your wedding day. I spent a lot of hours prior to the wedding with Vivi during meetings online and in-person. She was very resourceful and prepared, so I felt like whether or not the bride and groom had too much ideas or no idea about what they want, Vivi would be able to guide you through the whole process stress-free. She also gave us a lot of tips about posing, wedding look, makeup, hair, facial expressions, and such details that no one else could have told us about. On our wedding day, their passion and professionalism were evident in every shot they captured. Vivi went above and beyond, taking photos from so many unique perspectives to give us a truly stunning set of images that perfectly captured the joy and special moments of our celebration. She worked tirelessly for hours, barely taking a break, driven by her clear love for her craft. Even some of my wedding guests mentioned to me how passionate Vivi and her team were running around and constantly with their eyes on the camera. We were thrilled to receive our beautiful wedding photos so quickly, allowing us to share the memories with our friends and family right away. The photos are beautiful and just as I imagined. I go back to look at the photos all the time, months after the wedding, to relive those moments and they never fail to tear me up or brighten my mood instantly. Vivi is a very professional photographer with extensive knowledge and skills. We hire her group, not only because of the amazing photos they deliver, but also their thoughtful tips for preparing the wedding and the photo, such as recommended dressing, photo poses, makeups, lighting, wedding schedule etc. I feel we are not hiring someone for photographing, but indeed get a best friend to help us host our wedding with every details.
