SAVANNA WAS AMAZING! We are so pleased with our photos, she did a great job of prioritizing what was important to us and reflecting that in the photos. We will be treasuring her work for years to come. Our friends and family also cannot stop raving about how the photos came out! My sister wants to use Savanna for her own wedding!! Savanna was also very responsive, kind, and overall a dream to work with.
Savanna shot our winter wedding in Chicago and did SUCH a fabulous job. We scheduled her roughly a year in advance and her intro/contract process was seamless and she was always available and quick to answer any questions we had leading up to our wedding day. She was very helpful in offering insights into a day of schedule even before we talked through specific logistics of our wedding day to help us plan.
I appreciated her flexibility about shooting locations for our wedding day (weather dependent) and she was such a gentle and kind and supportive guidance throughout our entire wedding day. If we ever didn’t know what was going on Savanna was always there to point us in the right direction and keep things on track!
Our friends and family noted how nice Savanna was to work with and how comfortable she made them felt. Savanna was enjoyable to have photograph us during pre-wedding events (getting ready/portraits) and then as the wedding ceremony+reception started she blended seamlessly in which allowed her to capture the documentary style pics that we adore!
Her photos she shared with us are truly epic and we’re delivered SO quickly!!! Our photos were exactly what we dreamed of, well actually better and we feel so lucky! If you like film photography/documentary style pics then you won’t regret working with Savanna!

I literally changed my wedding date so I could have Savanna as my wedding photographer. We chose the full wedding day package with the super eight film. Savanna was so easygoing and comfortable to work with. I told her I really wanted the photos to truthfully capture the essence and the soul of the day. I really wanted the photos to feel honest. She did exactly that! I was deeply impressed. Some of the most special ones truly reflected the sincerity and fullness of the moment. We received a slideshow, an album full of highlights, film, our super eight video, and then all of the photos. It was organized really well and the platform was easy to use. I could not be more grateful for her work!
We loved working with Savanna so much! From engagement photos to our wedding day, she helped us feel so comfortable. The photos came back so quickly! The photos truly captured the vibe of the day and make you feel like you were there.

Savanna made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and didn’t suggest anything that didn’t feel completely natural. We are so happy with the pictures from our wedding and couldn’t recommend her enough. She is so professional and had so many planning suggestions that I never would have thought of. When I look at our wedding photos I remember the day as it was and I’m so thankful Savanna captured it so authentically. Thank you Savanna!!
Savanna Sturkie is simply the best wedding photographer to work with in Atlanta (or probably anywhere!). From the first meeting with her, she suggested vendors she often works with, which helped us immensely and took a lot of the work off our plate to start. The way she composes photos and the subtle vintage feel really sold us, but it's the way that she handles the day that is truly special. She made the shot list for the day easy, she was organized and made sure we got all the family photos we were looking for. We were so excited to have her work her magic with a Super 8 video, and the final video is stunning and absolutely worth the investment. It's a stand-out. She was quick on first look photo turnaround, communication and expectations. But mostly, Savanna and her team were a joy to work with on the day of the wedding, and we really felt taken care of. We felt like they were excited to be there on our special day and make sure to get the best of the day. We can't wait to have another photoshoot with Savanna, and we have photo and video keepsakes we'll cherish forever.
Savanna was absolutely incredible with every step on our big day, and before as well. I am super particular and Savanna delivered all the photos (and super 8 video!!!) would could dream of + so much more. AMAZING!
