Calah did our sons senior pics and I am so happy with them. She captured his actual smile which is saying a lot because he usually either only grins or has a manufactured version of a smile. But she managed to kidnap all the character in his eyes and true smile and harness the memory of this short time in the timeline of his life for me to look back on and cherish. Calah is patient and methodical, a little OCD with specificity, and very, very creative. She’s also got an eye for color and lighting symmetry which made her suggestion for location a perfect match for this event. Simply put, she is an artist. I am very happy, and I’ll use her again for other events upcoming.

You know those photos that you love the most because they just seem so caught in the moment? Those ones that are far and few between all the poses ones with everyone glaring straight into the camera. Those are the photos calah has the best eye for, so talented and authentic in what she captures through her lens! I can honestly say her photos are my favorite ones framed and hung in my home! I’ve know calah since we were teenagers and she has always the ability to to get the best of times in a photo. I’m so happy and proud to be able to watch her creativeness grow and spread to others to enjoy. She’s truly one of a kind and I am always overjoyed and proud to show her work off when someone tell me they wants to get some good photos taken. I pull her page up, show off everything! Then say “ yeah my best friend took that, you should go with her as you photographer you won’t be disappointed!”

Calah has done a mother son shoot as well as a family shoot for us and we loved both experiences! I am awkward and don’t love being photographed and she made me feel so comfortable. She is personable and so kind, during our shoots we interacted and it was almost as if she wasn’t there, I didn’t feel awkward or forced in poses. She captures candid moments some of which I will forever cherish! So grateful to have glimpses of moments in our lives captured forever!
