We had a wonderful time with James at our photo shoot in Joshua Tree! Neither my husband or I are very comfortable being photographed, but he made it easy and comfortable, and even fun! James was able to put us both at ease and capture us well through his photography. He is very Fun and kind, he made this day an absolute blast for us!   We treasure these photographs and our memories from that day!

If you're looking for a wedding/engagement photographer, look no further. We had our wedding in Atlanta and James agreed to fly over for a couple of days to photograph our wedding. He made the entire process stress-free and communicated all the details with our venue ahead of time to ensure everything went smoothly. We also had our engagement photos shot by him in San Diego and they came out incredible. His photography style is very warm and we received a lot of compliments from our friends on how James was able to bring natural light to every picture. Lots of them ended up using pictures from our wedding as their profile pictures (if this doesn't show you how good he is I don't what will). :)

Okay y'all. If you're looking for INCREDIBLE, TIMELESS, GLAM, AND VISIONARY photos of any event or period of your life you HAVE to book with James. No matter what your location, he can make you look like you belong in the Vogue archives. He is so easy to work with and provides polite directions while at the same time making you laugh and feel entirely comfortable. My husband isn't really a photo guy but with James working with us it was a breeze. We were obsessed with the shots he got back to us, in record time may I add. He is so flexible with your needs and will capture the love between you in ways that you will seriously cherish forever. Not to mention he is SO AFFORDABLE. We got married at 20 years old and were so so discouraged looking at all of the "insta-famous" photographers and their insane prices. James blew their prices out of the water and seemed too good to be true, however when we received our photos we felt like we should have paid thousands more. His vision is next level, and the pieces he creates can be hung in your home as art, not just a family picture. We wholeheartedly loved our experience and I know you will too. Book with him and thank me later:)

James shot my surprise proposal and it could not have worked out any better! He responded quickly to my request that was short notice and he really helped me capture such a special moment. He was so friendly and professional throughout the process and even helped me strategize on some of the details of the surprise. He was very communicative and timely and everything worked out as planned. More importantly, the pictures turned out absolutely amazing! James is the best!! We highly recommend James Furman Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! We are so grateful we found him. We are fr om LA and were looking online for a fine art photographer based in San Diego wh ere we held our wedding. I saw his work online and was instantly amazed by his portfolio. We didn't have a chance to meet before the wedding but even then, we booked him since we were truly captivated by his works. He was very professional and quick to respond. He was very friendly and he nicely addressed all of our questions and concerns. During the wedding day, he shot every moment so beautifully that it even exceeded our expectations! We did our wedding in a catamaran yacht, the setting is unique since we were in limited space and were sailing during the ceremony but he was really adaptable and did an incredible job capturing everything and everyone. He definitely knows how to make great photos, he directed us how to pose for the camera but what we liked most about him is how he can capture real candid moments that look truly special. We, and every single person that has seen our album, loved how every single photo turned out. He's truly the best at what he does as a photographer and the kind of person that will make you feel like having a long time friend even at first meeting. I highly recommend Jame Furman photography! I was instantly captured by his work as I searched for a specific look online. Prior to the wedding we to chance to meet once, he was very professional and we instantly got along with him so we quickly booked him. My husband and I were blown away with his artistic ability to captured the magical moments through out the wedding. His calm demeanor was refreshing as he guided our large wedding party. We will cherish our wedding images forever!
