I got my pre-wedding and engagement photos done with Jim and he is amazing!! So professional and hard-working. Jim spent all day with us and never seemed tired; just snapping away and setting up the next creative shot. He was upbeat and we just had so much fun.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the services Jim offered during our pre-wedding photo shoot at Palm Springs (our first time there) in spring 2019. Prior the trip, Jim communicated frequently about every detail, for instance, the logistics, the color of flowers, and texture/color of clothes. His responsiveness took a lot of the stress of our shoulders, especially we were traveling from Seattle.
Jim was very polite and kind throughout the full day of shoot. I admire his professional attitude and persistence. Because of his unique artistic sense and efficiency, we were able to cover four themes (JT, Salvation Mt., Bombay beach, and Pioneer town) within a day!!  
We recently received the final-edited photos in an USB. Jim's talent in photography as well as attention to detail are the service you need for capturing the best moments for your pre-wedding album or at your wedding. My wife and I highly recommend Jim without any hesitation!

We received our prewedding photos today. Those are excellent and amazing. Each photo reminds me of the feeling of happiness and brings me back to the day when we took them in Grand Central, Central Park, Top of the Rock, etc. Thanks to the photographer, Jim Lee who is always polite, professional, considerate and has great talents for photo shooting. Since we would not spend too much time in New York, I did lots of research about New York photographers. I am so impressed by Jim's photographing style, because I can tell a story from his photos. After we worked with him, I do feel Jim is really different from other photographers. He did not ask us to hold any pose. He just catches every beautiful moment naturally and makes us so comfortable. I don't think we are very photogenic, but have pictures taken by Jim, it's more like someone recording our trip
invisible. Especially, we have a 5 yrs old naughty boy, Jim was so patient to play with him and meanwhile captured each vivid image of my family. Jim's work is more like an artist than a photographer. If I could come up another chance to have family trip shooting, I would never hesitate to invite Jim again.

Jim is a phenomenal photographer and handily took care of my wife and me through our special day.
He is highly responsive (we get replies within a day), accountable (gave an estimate when pictures will be ready and meets that deadline), and professional (understood what we wanted through emails and accommodated our style through the day).
He took us through Brooklyn Heights to Dumbo and covered multiple angles without staging us, so we were extremely comfortable letting him snap away. His pace is pleasant, we didn't feel rushed, and he listened to some of our ideas along our stroll through his spots.
Jim's editing is delightful, we limited ourselves to 10 pictures out of the large set of gorgeous pictures he sent to us.
In addition, we needed a picture for our banquet and Jim accommodated our urgency by getting the pictures to us in record fashion.
We thoroughly recommend Jim as he is professional, courteous, and understanding about his clients.

Jim was an amazing photographer! We hired Jim for our engagement photos, and we are so happy with the quality of the photos we got - they are outstanding. I often joke with my friends that I wish I could pay Jim to follow me around photographing my life because he infuses every photo with this beautiful, romantic, whimsical, better-than-life quality.

We were initially a little awkward about posing, but Jim worked with us and helped make the process feel natural. He also does a lot of non-posed shots or ones with movement that result in candid appearing beautiful photos.

He is very professional and clearly seasoned in the industry, so he also had a lot of good advice about other aspects of wedding planning - makeup, florists, etc. He was in touch with me early on before the shoot to hash out details about my clothes, bouquet/props, hair/makeup, and he is very clearly invested in producing good photos. Even if you don't have a clear vision for your photos, he will guide you and make sure you take the steps during the prep process to have beautiful photos.

The day of he actually went overtime with us because he wanted to hit all of the planned locations. He made sure to include locations we wanted to shoot at, and also suggested some amazing spots including this one cafe in Brooklyn where my favorite photos are from.

We seriously could not have asked for a better photographer. Jim was punctual, friendly, understanding the pressure of the day and captured our best moments in our prewedding photo! There is a reason he's so well reviewed and popular! At first, we scheduled a 6 hour wedding photo but he enthusiastically brought us to multiple amazing locations in NYC and photographed us for almost 8 hours without asking for more money. He was very responsive and gave us advice on the venue and our outfit before the pre-wedding day. We shared our thoughts and he also gave us suggestions which were very helpful. The weather forecast on our scheduled day was terrible and he suggested to move to one day before which turned out to be a perfect sunny day.

Everyone was perfect on the day. We went to many places in the city and he could find decent spots that I have never thought of. He could capture our beautiful and natural moments during the day. We booked him for our wedding in April 2017 and also decided to do an Engagement Photo Shoot this past July.

Jim is a great photographer and artist. I had Jim for my engagement photo and wedding photo. He is not just taking the perfect pictures, but also in the pictures he took, he told our story.
