My husband and I wanted to have couple’s photos taken since the last time we had any professional photos taken was at our wedding 5+ years ago. In my search for a photographer, I stumbled across Helena, and I’m so glad that I did! Helena was quick to respond to my inquiry, answered my many questions, and maintained great communication leading up to the shoot. She went above and beyond for us by checking in prior, offering guidance on what to wear and helping us pick the perfect photoshoot location.  From the time we arrived through the end of the photoshoot, Helena made us feel instantly comfortable and helped us have so much fun! We LOVE how our pictures came out and would highly recommend Helena to anyone looking for couple’s/engagement pictures.

Helena’s style is so natural and so comfortable. She provided amazing direction on outfits, locations, and posing. As any parent knows, planning family photos is stressful and sometimes hard to smile through an hour of screaming and tantrums- but somehow Helena made the pictures look so gorgeous, frame worthy, and some are hilarious real moments that I’ll treasure forever. On top of all of that, Helena was just awesome to work with! Very patient and very approachable. Will be booking again for sure!!! I would highly recommend giving her a call!

Helena has given us the greatest gift. No words can express how amazing these photos turned out. We are in awe and are overjoyed that we decided to hire Helena. My husband and I were unable to move forward with our destination wedding due to the pandemic but after working with Helena we have absolutely zero regrets. Helena was not only professional but SO much fun to work with. My husband is not the most comfortable in front of the camera- but her animated approach and prompting made us both feel so at ease. She captured our intimate moments and our personalities so perfectly. Her eye for capturing the light and landscapes resulted in stunning images you would think are unreal. She is a true artist. I cannot wait to frame and hang these photos in our home. Highly HIGHLY recommend. You will not regret choosing her to be a part of your big day.10/10. Five stars!

Helena beautifully captured our elopement last month. Her photos are warm, natural, and full of personality. I don't think my husband and I could have been happier with how the photos turned out. We ended up taking formal wedding photos at the Palace of Fine Arts and some more casual couple portraits on Crissy Field Beach. The majority of the comments we got from friends and family were centered around how epic and awesome our photos turned out and how our photographer choice was a 10/10. Behind the scenes, she was an endless source of enthusiasm and encouragement, and gave us amazing posing tips and suggestions. Even prior to the big day, she meticulously spent time discussing outfits, locations, and logistics to make sure the day was perfect. We're so glad we were able to jump on the Helena rocket ship as her career as a full time wedding photographer takes off. After our session, our close friends were so impressed with our photos that they booked their engagement and wedding shots with her as well. We have no doubt that her accolades will pile up and she'll be a go to recommendation for our friends and family. Definitely book her for your engagement, wedding, and photo shoots!

I can’t say enough great things about Helena! We found her by briefly searching through Instagram and were in awe of her work. What stood out from the start was her unique ability to capture the happiest of moments, nothing ever looking staged or forced. She was so incredibly responsive right away! I proceeded to “interview” Helena and from the first phone conversation she put me at ease. I had “interviewed” at least 5-6 other photographers, and kept coming back to her galleries. On the day of our scheduled shoot, the Bay Area fire season led to some unpredictable issues - air quality, smoke and hazy sky. Helena worked with us through changing the original location two hours before the shoot and her positivity never skipped a beat. Throughout the photoshoot, it felt like we were hanging out with a close friend - Helena has a true talent for making people feel comfortable! She directed us through the process and contributed to many laughs along the way. Her beautifully captured photos were delivered in such a quick manner - I’m honestly stunned, don’t know how she does it! Thank you, Helena. We will be sure to work with her again in the future!
