This guy is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Honestly, do not think twice about working with Max. I found him on instagram and fell in love with his style: very organic and real. We chatted on the phone later that week and I knew we had found the photographer for our civil union. Max has a very down-to-earth and laid back vibe. You can tell photography is his passion and he enjoys the sessions. He is absolutely dedicated to his couples, open to ideas and just so much fun to work with. As a bride you are so anxious and nervous, but Max makes it feel so easy! He is full of energy and directed us without a problem -even taking into account we were freezing that day. But all was worth it. Our pictures are amazing. I don’t think there is a single photo I don’t absolutely love. He accommodated extra time for family and reception portraits as well! Which I am BEYOND grateful for. Thank you
Max Evans...is THE BEST! I’m from Arizona and have had the dream to get married in Maine for years. I wanted to get married next to a lighthouse and the ocean. Once me and my fiancé decided to actually make it happen there was one thing I was worried about...the pictures. How the heck do you find a photographer in Maine?? Well I took to Instagram and saw Max’s page through hashtags. I was instantly hooked and wanted him to be my photographer. He was extremely responsive and within an hour of talking to him online I booked him. He checked in with me for the several months leading up to my wedding. He asked if I had special requests. On the day he was professional, friendly, open, fun and easy going. He made my wedding day better by being there. My photos he took are some of the most special things I own. Hire him. I mean it!
Max was so great to work with. He is talented beyond words. Our wedding was a small intimate family affair and he captured all the best shots. He was very accommodating, directed our guests with ease and made us feel very special through the whole process. I cannot recommend him enough!

I’ve worked with Max on two different shoots: a portrait shoot and a couples shoot. I highly recommend working with him! He’s friendly, makes the experience fun and relaxed, and takes BEAUTIFUL photos. He’s got great ideas of his own, but is willing to work with clients to help them get exactly what they want out of their shots. Please book with him! You’ll be happy you did.

Max is amazing! He is incredibly talented and very detail-oriented. Max was a lot of fun to shoot with. He had great ideas and helped us get lost in the moment, while capturing some amazing photos. We loved all of the photos from both our engagement shoot and our wedding shoot. We also recommend getting the album as well because Max did a phenomenal job!
We absolutely loved working with Max!! It was so easy to pose and feel comfortable as he took our pictures.
