When I started planning our wedding, I was a confused, overwhelmed mess. Undiagnosed ADHD and OCD, a plethora of major life changes, and a complete lack of knowledge about weddings led me down a 6 month tunnel of anxiety-fueled task paralysis. When we finally attended our inquiry meeting with Calluna, I felt my stress lift for the first time. Gabby’s confidence and professionalism were instantly reassuring, and gave me the first true bits of excitement about the wedding planning process!

Gabby is genuinely the most organized, professional, and supportive person to have on your team! Her expertise is immediately apparent, and her creativity, patience, and problem solving skills are truly unmatched. In our first meeting with her, Gabby said that she could get us anything we wanted - even an elephant - and I absolutely believe that she could have!

As a busy bride from out of state who wanted a luxury Met-Gala themed wedding (and had never actually been to a wedding), I had to put a LOT of trust in Gabby to help execute my dreams. I constantly ran to Gabby with extraordinarily non-traditional ideas and a very specific vision of how I wanted the weekend to look and feel, and she handled every single challenge with ease. From commissioning massive paper mache flowers and helping brainstorm a custom step and repeat backdrop that doubled as a seating chart, to managing a plethora of vendors including live musicians, a painter, and a live tattoo artist, there is truly nothing that Gabby couldn’t handle. In the month since our wedding, I have learned that she even managed multiple issues during the wedding weekend without ever adding stress to my plate or even making me aware.

On top of being PHENOMENAL at event planning, Gabby leads a masterclass in being supportive of her couples. She was incredibly kind and empathetic when we navigated a major family emergency during critical parts of the planning process, and helped us adjust when a groomsman pulled out of our wedding less than a month before the event. She also demonstrated some of the most flawless de-escalation and conflict management skills I have ever witnessed (trust me - this is necessary lol).

Throughout the planning process, Gabby truly became one of my most trusted and cherished friends, and having her by my side on wedding day was the most grounding, comforting presence. Gabby’s extensive experience and staggering competence are evident in everything she does, and allowed me to trust her wholeheartedly to run our wedding weekend the way I would have.

Our wedding was everything I could have ever dreamt of, and that is entirely due to Gabby and Calluna as a whole. There will never be enough words to express my gratitude for the beautiful job they did!

Similar to the other reviews, I'm a bit at a loss for where to start on describing my experience working with Heather and Calluna. Heather and I began working on my winter wedding at Devil's Thumb Ranch about a year ago and we celebrated this past weekend - everything was a huge success.

I didn't consider myself a big 'wedding girlie' and started out a bit hesitant on investing in the weekend. Everything changed when I asked Heather if it would be possible to book my (now) husband's favorite Bluegrass band, the Stillhouse Junkies, as a surprise for the Welcome Dinner, which she was able to do in ~1 week. From there, Heather worked with me on creating an intentional celebration for our ~87 guests. We didn't spend money for its own sake, we instead created an experience that delighted our friends and family and made them feel taken care of. Heather was so deliberate and thoughtful, and made sure every detail was explored and executed perfectly (down to the hot toddy bar before the ceremony!!). Her list of vendors were all excellent and they all love working with her and with Calluna.

Heather made our wedding happen in a way that I didn't think would be possible and throughout, she held the perfect mix of professionalism and fun. She let me concentrate on the parts of the wedding that were important to me, while making sure that everything else didn't go off the rails. I am so grateful to her and to the Calluna Team for making our day such a wonderful experience. Our friends and family thought the day was perfect, and so did we.

Hiring Calluna Events for our wedding was the easiest decision in the whole wedding planning process. They are worth every penny and more. Everyone I have worked with on Calluna's team is professional, detailed-oriented, and made the experience seamless as possible (even with quick turnaround times). They use a creative lens to capture our vision and even pull off the impossible with surprise celebrity performances such as En Vogue and Vanilla Ice! We already can't want to work with them for our future events to come!

We are deeply grateful to Gabby and Calluna for such a spectacular wedding weekend, and we give them the very highest recommendation when it comes to planning any event that holds special importance in your life.

I cannot recommend Calluna events enough for your wedding. My husband and I were so impressed and happy with how everything turned out and also the process. We worked with Lindsay and she was so wonderful to work with. I truly miss planning our wedding. Lindsay was professional, organized, detailed oriented, and a great listener when I felt overwhelmed with the process. There aren't enough words to properly express the dream wedding that Lindsay and the Calluna team planned for our special weekend.
