My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Mili as our photographer for our LGBTQ+ wedding, and I can't recommend her highly enough. From our first meeting, Mili’s kindness and genuine passion for her craft were so evident. Mili has an extraordinary ability to capture the essence of love in her photography and does so with ease. She made us feel so so comfortable during each shoot as well (even my wife who is a bit camera shy fully blossomed with Mili shooting). Each shot on our wedding day was more than just a photograph. I can’t really explain it that well, but every piece of art carries the artist with it in some way shape or form. Mili’s photographs are no different - the angles and moments she captures carry the weight of a deep character etched with love. It’s like the photographs were sprinkled in with a beautiful soul topping - it’s art. Her understanding of the nuances of our relationship and the LGBTQ+ experience brought a depth to the photos that we will cherish for our entire lives. The pictures she took will be shared for many generations I suspect. We are incredibly grateful for her work and the lasting memories she created for us. Working with Mili was such a breeze. She truly has an art of not only taking exquisite photos, but also keeping us calm and making sure we enjoy ourselves on our special day. She takes time to get to know our comfort zones, as well as bring out a side of us that is a little outside of our comfort level at the same time. You may not understand some of the direction she gives you at the time, but when it shows on an image, it all makes sense. That's art. My favourite photos that Mili captures are the candid ones during our wedding ceremony. Mili has a true art of capturing moments, she knows exactly how to freeze a moment in time effortlessly. Her eye for being creative and unique in photography is unlike any other I've seen before. It tryly was an honour to work with her and her team.
We knew how much time is spent with your vendors at the wedding, so we made sure to pick the team we would feel most comfortable with and they were truly a vibe! We enjoyed every bit of our photo shoots, pushing through our couple photos as fast as we could and laughing the whole way.
