Chelsea Mansion

Nestled on the Gold Coast of Nassau County’s North Shore, Chelsea Mansion is the epitome of charm, elegance and glamour. Built in 1924 by Alexandra and Benjamin Moore using French, English and Chinese influences, Chelsea Mansion joined the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The building’s south side, courtyard, moat and bridges emphasize the Oriental inspiration, while the front elevation, roof and wings show the influence of 17th- and 18th-century French styles.
