"I feel the best wedding photographs are the ones that take you back to exactly how that moment felt," he says. His style is lifestyle and editorial, with a natural energy that makes couple portraits feel like stills from a magazine story rather than something staged. Canon with prime lenses, Lightroom for editing, warm and balanced colors, nothing over-processed. He builds connection with couples before worrying about anything technical, because as he sees it, once the comfort is there, the photographs take care of themselves. Working in different parts of the world is what inspires him the most. Louis Gan
Music came first for Louis Gan. A live singer before he ever touched a camera, his sense of emotion, atmosphere, and human connection was already finely tuned by the time his mentor Munkeat introduced him to wedding photography. That background never left. "I don't just want to photograph how a couple looked on their wedding day. I want to capture how they felt," he says.
After ten years, his style feels soulful, cinematic, and truly human. He focuses on the connection between two people, not just how they appear in front of a backdrop. THE KT
"We don't believe a wedding should be performed for photographs. The photographs should come from a wedding that was truly lived," say Khánh and Thịnh, the founders of THE KT, a Vietnamese photography house built on a background in architecture. That training left something permanent: an attention to space, proportion, light, composition, and the relationship between people and their surroundings. Nearly a decade into photographing professionally, those instincts still shape every frame. Their work sits between editorial intention and documentary instinct, drawn to composition, fashion, architecture, movement, and light, while never letting the pursuit of a beautiful image interrupt what is actually happening. FCG Weddings was established in 2019 in Indonesia, though the team had been working in the creative wedding industry well before the brand took shape. More than eight years of experience behind them, and still growing.
"Witnessing different kind of love and intimacy, the connection, the laughters, tears of joy, the grand celebration, as well as directing our couple so that they could get the best result," is what they enjoy most about the work. Berawal Dari Teman
Berawal Dari Teman means "Start from Friends" in Indonesian, and that's exactly how it began: a gift from Krishna to his close friends. He studied graphic design and started as a fashion photographer in 2012, and that background in fashion, modern and heritage architecture, and Asian culture shaped everything about how he sees and styles his subjects.
"Through BERAWAL DARI TEMAN, it has opened so many doors to people who quietly share the same interests with me - people I never knew existed," he says. The fun project officially became a brand around 2017. His style is a modern cinematic minimalist portrait with a touch of refined Asian silhouette, and before any session, he personally handles the styling for each couple. An interview comes before the deal, with open discussion throughout and an honest, professional perspective shared with confidence. Iceland is still on the wishlist.
CALIA
A team of 13 creatives and a standard that hasn't shifted since Jonathan Susilo founded CALIA in 2015 out of a passion for fashion and travel photography. Eleven years of high-end wedding storytelling, working with couples locally and globally from their base in Indonesia. "The rare privilege of witnessing and capturing raw human emotion.
