Wes and Chelsea are more than just photographers capturing beautiful portraits and behind the scenes memories - they are your trusted partners on your big day. From our initial discovery call, to planning out our timelines, to the big day; they really have your back from all angles. Because of our busy AF schedule this summer, we weren't able to take advantage of our engagement session (don't worry I will be dialing up Wes for every major life event that should or shouldn't be photographed for the rest of my life) so it made me a little nervous given my husband and I have never really gotten professional photos and the practice would have been nice. Have no fear, Wes and Chelsea gave us proper direction and posed us accordingly with ease. We are so looking forward to the full reveal, but I can tell you right now from the previews and how smoothly they helped the day go (even just showing us what they had captured throughout the day ) I will be recommending them to anyone looking for the most amazing wedding photographers and friends that will capture your day (and your hearts!).

Wes and Chelsea were literally amazing. Aside from the amazing photography, it was like we had a personal assistant in them all day. They went out of their way to help us any way they could along the way. Absolutely could not have found someone better out there, between the talent or personality. They were the perfect fit for us and they captured so many amazing memories of our special day. Not to mention our engagement shoot!
Wes is such an amazing photographer. From day one, he had such a chill personality and we never felt any pressure to book him for our wedding. When we did book him, he offered such a wide variety of affordable packages and add-ons, the must have being the Photobooth! Do it! You won't regret it. Everyone at our wedding loved it and it was fun looking back at those photos and seeing the goofiness of people who are normally more shy in front of someone taking their picture. From the engagement session to the wedding day itself, he captured the best in us and our guests. His wife, Chelsea, who also is a second photographer, is amazing too. She was helping assist on our wedding day and not photograph, but when I cried at our first look and made my makeup so splotchy, she jumped right in and was able to fix it. They were both so helpful with so many things. And Wes is a ninja, there's no other words to describe him. Seeing our photos at our reveal I was like "How did you get this shot? I didn't notice you there, or there and you were right next to me for this". Wes wanted us to have such an amazing day and he did. And our guests loved him too. I don't think the reception had been going on for an hour before he had a laptop up by the bar for our guests to see the pictures he took earlier in the day. And when we finished up our last picture for the night, they presented us with a little Polaroid album of the main moments. I cried it was so sweet. Seeing the reveal of our photos brought more happy tears because he captured the wedding so well, it was nice to revisit that day. I can't recommend them enough!
We are not sure where to begin with trying to explain how absolutely AMAZING Wes and Chelsea were. Wedding planning is beyond crazy and stressful on its own, but trying to find all the right vendors that fit with your needs and personality are another level of stressful. But as soon as we met with Wes, our fear of not finding the right photographer / videographer literally melted right away. We felt right away that they were the right ones for our wedding, and we booked them within the hour after meeting. From that first moment till even now after the wedding, Wes and Chelsea have been attentive, kind, understanding, helpful, amazing, and all the other wonderful vocabulary words. From planning out engagement photoshoot for when there was snow, so we could have a snowball fight, to planning the wedding day timeline together, to being an absolutely amazing day of help when trying to get to places on time and doing everything needed, I don't know how to even begin to sing enough praise for them. I am not sure what was my favorite part of the day with them, when we got to see a slideshow of photos taken same day and just those were absolutely breathtaking, or the polaroid photo book we were given at the nights end so we could take something home with us the same day, or Chelsea having me run into the bathroom of the venue to hide from my groom so he didn't see me before the first look, or when Wes was fanning me trying to get me to cool down after dancing my heart out or after family photos when Wes asked me if I wanted to just take a moment with just my mom's urn and feel all the emotions with her. Every single moment they helped with was beyond our wildest dreams, and if we had to do it all over again we would go with Wes and Chelsea every single time. We cannot wait to see all of our photos and our wedding video in our reveal session, but we already know they will be the most amazing thing we get to keep from our wedding. (Beside now being husband and wife.) If you are thinking about going with Wes & Chelsea, you absolutely should, otherwise what the hell are you doing?
Wes and Chelsea are amazing! From the very start of speaking to them about our wedding to the wedding day and after, they have been so incredible! They sent personalized gifts after we booked with them and we talked about what we wanted for the wedding day. They listened and went above and beyond! They literally hype you up for your wedding. Our wedding day was perfect and they helped us have the most wonderful day. Taking pictures didn't feel awkward. They made us feel comfortable. They literally feel like they are part of your friends and family when they are there for your special day. Thank you so much! We absolutely love you guys!
We are SO grateful we chose Wes and Chelsea to be our wedding photographers. They both have such great personalities and fit right in with our family and friends. My husband and I are both kind of awkward when it comes to being around new people, but we felt so comfortable with Wes and Chelsea. Since the day we hired them, they have been so helpful. We had our first meeting over zoom to go over what we wanted and Wes sent us over the pricing. Not once did we ever feel pressured into chosing Wes. But just based off of our meeting with Wes and his portfolio, we knew we WANTED this guy! Wes sent us over so much helpful information to guide us through the wedding process and when closer to the wedding he sent us a survey to make sure he understood our expectations and to be aware of any special moments we wanted to make sure were captured. By the time dinner was over at our wedding, we ALREADY had sneak peeks of our pictures. Wes and Chelsea also made us a polaroid photo book, which we absolutely loved! If you are looking through these reviews trying to decide if you want to hire Wes and Chelsea, get them BEFORE another lucky couple takes them! They are absolutely AMAZING!

Can’t say enough good things about Wes and Chelsea! They are hands down, the absolute best! Wes did my engagement photos and him and Chelsea both shot my wedding. We love all of our pictures so much! It also helps that they are so fun, sweet, funny, and so easy to work with! I would without a doubt recommend them!

If I could give Wes and Chelsea 6/5 stars, I would. I seriously cannot recommend Westley Leon Studios enough. Our photos and highlight film turned out AMAZING, because Wes is absolutely incredible at what he does. He's more than just a photographer though; he feels like an ally and a friend, and a part of the wedding party. He managed to bring the crowd together and get everyone pumped, be in all places at all times without being intrusive, and brought an incredible energy to the entire event. He has an intuition for capturing important details and moments, and was such an amazing photographer that we had numerous guests tell us--unprompted--how incredible he was. Seriously cannot recommend enough!!! There simply aren't enough words to express all of the ways that Wes helped us--beyond just capturing photography-- on the day of the wedding and in all of the planning leading up to it. 150% recommend him-- you will never, ever regret it. We got a full wedding photography package from him, as well as a photo booth and highlight film. Absolutely everything far, far exceeded our already-high expectations. We will have these images for the rest of our lives, and could not be happier with them.

I highly recommend using him for your photography. He set up an amazing photo booth At my wedding and it was a big hit. Worth every penny!
