Natasha was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is the perfect photographer for a shoot where you want to forget about the camera, and focus on the person you are with. We loved our beautiful photos and would highly recommend her for engagement sessions (or weddings!).
We chose Natasha to be our photographer at our small Covid wedding this fall because we were attracted to her photojournalistic style. She is a brilliant photographer. She spent time getting to know us beforehand and making sure she understood what we wanted. We enjoyed the time we spent with her. She captured personal moments naturally and effortlessly, with not a single cheesy, posed picture among them. Photography was probably the element of the wedding that we spent the most time thinking about. We really wanted a photographer who could shoot documentary-style without staging too many shots. We went back and forth on a few options, but Natasha's artistic eye and ability to capture special moments were unparalleled. We first worked with Natasha for our engagement photos back in 2019, after scouring through numerous DC area photographers. We loved Natasha's photojournalist style, focusing on photos that capture real moments and emotions, rather than stylized or posed. She was fantastic to work with, making us feel comfortable and capturing gorgeous photos. Natasha was extremely understanding and flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times during the pandemic. She kept in touch with us throughout the process and when we were finally able to have our wedding in 2021, she exceeded our expectations, yet again! The photos are beautiful, she was a dream to work with, and the photo book keepsake we received as part of the package is something we treasure. My wife and I were searching for a photographer who could capture our wedding as it really was, from the intimate moments to the wild dance floor, and Natasha's documentary-style fit our needs exactly! She listened carefully to what we wanted - minimal posed pictures, non-traditional "first look", lots of candids, etc - and she more than delivered. We had 130 guest count and Natasha covered basically every inch of our wedding day, no need or want for a second shooter. She was everywhere and so stealthy that we didn't realize she was so close to us the whole night until we got our pictures back. Our ceremony was outside and dinner/dancing were inside, and regardless of the lighting, the pictures turned out perfectly, she was even able to capture non-blurry pictures of guests jamming on a packed dance floor! She was a pleasure to work with, the instructions of her process were easy to follow from start to finish, and had a lot of examples to look through which gave us a good idea of what we were getting. We especially appreciated that she sent us a few pictures the morning after our wedding as a sneak peek, very nice touch. She's genuinely kind and calm which helped us remain present during our wedding day. Everyone who has seen our photos are amazed by the quality and we are too. We're thrilled we picked Natasha and highly recommend her!
