Green Holly Photographer

We were so lucky to find Green Holly Photography for our wedding and engagement photos! I had found Green Holly online and really loved her use of lighting and composition. Since we first met with Holly, we knew it was a perfect fit. Holly is incredibly down to earth and was super helpful when it came down to planning. We first did out engagement photos in Depot Town Ypsilanti. We were a bit unprepared, but that didn't phase her - she came up with great shots, and made a potentially awkward situation into a really great time. Out edited photos came quickly and looked great!!   For our wedding, Holly was very informative about what she needed and when the day came, she was calm, professional, and very well-prepared (which was great, because I was a little bit crazy). Once again, she came up with great looking shots, and put everyone at ease. I kept getting compliments from my bridal party (as well as guests later on) regarding our wedding photographer. I don't know if that's normal, but it definitely was great to hear. I would hands down recommend Holly from Green Holly Photography for anyone looking for a great photographer for any occasion!

Holly is excellent and I completely urge anyone looking for engagement or wedding photos (or anything else for that matter) to choose Holly! My fiance and I recently had an engagement photo shoot on Belle Isle and around the Detroit Riverwalk with Holly and we absolutely love our photos. Holly was super easy to work with and our friends and family LOVE the photos. Thank you Holly!!! It truly was a pleasure.

If I could give more stars I would! I am so glad we found Holly to photograph our wedding. Due to COVID we had a change in venues and location of our wedding. Holly was able to save the day for us. We hadn't met prior to our wedding but it felt as though we had met before. She is on time, SUPER friendly, easy to work with and was able to get amazing natural shots of EVERYONE. I wish I had another event happening to book Holly again!!!

Holly was amazing in every aspect! We changed our entire wedding due to COVID-19 and it continued to be a very fluid event up until it was over and Holly was so helpful throughout the entire process. She was such a joy to work with. She was professional and fun and helped everyone feel comfortable on our wedding day. We ended up having a small ceremony with no reception; however Holly was open to roaming around Detroit with us and taking amazing pictures that we will cherish forever. I would recommend Holly to everyone. She was such a big part of our day and was able to fit right in with our family while remaining professional and producing such beautiful photos. I’m so lucky I found her and would hire her again for other events.

Holly is simply the BEST.  She shot my sister's wedding and she was the first vendor I booked for mine! Friends have also used her for their weddings based on her BEAUTIFUL WORK. Her shots capture you naturally, candidly, which compliment more traditional shots so well. She can turn any landscape into a dreamy photo! You know you have an excellent photographer when narrowing down 1200+ pics into an album is nearly impossible.

Another great thing that set Holly apart is that the work you see, is the quality you are going to get! Not just whoever is assigned from a big conglomerate. We specifically chose Holly because of our previous experience with her, her high quality talent and artistry,  as well as the fact that we love support a local, woman-owned small business!

Holly is easy going, professional, makes sure your timeline is on track and is an excellent wedding resource. She's and excellent value and worth every penny. Looking forward to working with her again in the future!

Holly is an AMAZING photographer! She made me and my husband feel so comfortable while taking our engagement and wedding photos, as she is both professional and down-to-earth. We have so many wonderful photos from our wedding, we're having trouble choosing which ones to print and frame! The photos are both beautiful and authentic, and truly capture the emotion of the day.
