Like many before us, we booked a San Francisco city hall wedding package with Rachel and couldn't be happier with everything.
Initial communication was great, Rachel kept us updated and informed us on what steps to take and where to meet. The photography session with her was a blast! Rachel was extremely kind, professional, funny, and made the session a lot of fun. She really knows all the best spots in and around the city Hall and the pictures came out amazing. Seriously, the pictures are phenomenal.
Also, it must be said that despite us booking only 2 hours I believe, Rachel stayed with us and kept shooting for well over 3 hours. It is clear to us that Rachel and her team care about their clients and want to provide them the best experience possible.
I want to thank the team again at this point. 10/10 would book wedding photography session again. I will gladly recommend Amanda Wei Photography / Blueberry Photography to my friends and family.

I am so glad that my now sister-in-law recommended Amanda Wei and team to us! Our engagement and wedding photos came out beautifully. Amanda was not only talented in her work, but also very helpful with the entire process of our wedding planning, gave good tips and advices. She went out of her way to the venue to scout for specific locations for our pictures. Amanda and her team was very responsive to our emails. We are not models, but she made it very fun and comfortable for us to capture our candid moments. We had so much fun working with Amanda and her team! Everyone asked who our photographer was after seeing our pictures! Highly recommend Amanda Wei and her team for wedding and engagement photoshoots!

I absolutely LOVED working with Amanda Wei Photography from start to finish and would highly recommend them. We had Rachel as our photographer for our SF City Hall wedding and felt so taken care of. She made me feel so at ease and had such a deep understanding of her craft and the place. I felt like she really listened to my needs and wants but was also made amazing suggestions. The whole experience and photos were everything and more that we could have wanted. The quality, professionalism, expertise and skill are truly top notch. The pricing is also incredibly reasonable especially for a place like San Francisco. I can't recommend them enough!! I will be recommending them to my friends and family at any chance I get!

I cannot recommend Amanda enough. She was our wedding photographer and we had the best time working with her, and the resulting photos were better than anything I could have hoped for.

I figured I would be a difficult client because I have zero opinions on photography, am uncomfortable with posing, and do not like being the center of attention. Somehow, Amanda made everything easy for us. We zoomed to discuss what my husband and I wanted (which I was probably annoyingly vague about), and Amanda and her team scouted the venue in preparation for the day of. When it came to the event itself, I felt nervous and awkward, but Amanda kept things energetic and enjoyable. She went above and beyond and led us to different parts of the city to get shots. She gave suggestions for poses/shots that I wouldn't normally have thought of or been comfortable with, but somehow she made it light-hearted and low-pressure.

After the event, I still didn't have high expectations for the photos, knowing how awkward I was the whole time. But when they were ready, my husband and I (and all our family and friends) were BLOWN AWAY. Amanda managed to make us look effortlessly glam and I still have no idea how she did it. The portraits of my family (even the ones with 10+ people), candid reception photos, etc were just as beautiful and joyful.

To be perfectly honest, prior to this, I was completely unaware of how much wedding photography costs in the Bay Area and was a bit skeptical of whether it would be 'worth it'. I can now confidently say that it was, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Amanda!!

Amanda and her team are one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Note- we had ~300 people, and I want to start by saying, AMANDA CAN DO IT ALL!! I can not say enough wonderful things and couldn't even tell you where to begin...

When my then fiance and I were looking for photographers, the number 1 thing we wanted was timeless. Nothing too filtered or crazy, but not too simple. Amanda's work was like no other. Soft colors, class, and elegance beyond compare! It was a no-brainer from the start.

From day 1, Amanda was incredible to work with! Her assistant, Amaris is constantly on top of things and always willing to help out. And Amanda is always ready for a brainstorming phone call or to go over any details. We could sleep easy knowing our photos would be taken care of!

When we met to go see the venue with Amanda, she thought of things we never even imagined! She had us make sure the priest had phones put away, the entry door was closed before the bride walked in, then made sure we could hunt down as much light as possible in our slightly darker church. She was on top of every detail!!

Then it came to the actual wedding day. From the second Amanda and the team walked in, they were family. They handled our 300 person wedding like it was a piece of cake! They melted in with the energy of the wedding beautifully and helped everything run smoothly. Not only were they hard at work taking every candid and detail shot, but they were also like our own personal assistants helping with the dress train, making sure the tie was straight, etc. And they did this with the most patience, kindness, and great energy! They made sure we were above schedule and even found opportunities for extra photos that we never imagined we would get!

Then it came to receiving the photos... I can never explain the feeling of reliving our wedding day through Amanda and Rachel's eyes... The photos speak for themselves and it is a totally different experience to see your own wedding photos come in. Their gift is something to not take lightly. If there is anything to take from this, it is just to book them...

We chose Amanda Wei Photography for their soft and yet lush photography style, and we went with the package that included the engagement photo session, which was a great way to get comfortable behind the camera. Amanda and her team were extremely thorough and detail-oriented, and their time estimations for when the engagement photos would be out was spot-on!

On the day of the wedding, Amanda and her crew, Rachel and Eliza, showed up on time, kept us on schedule while taking all the beautiful photos, and really made us feel the best versions of ourselves with heartfelt compliments

Amanda was AMAZING for our wedding! We loved working with her. She really captured so many beautiful photos for us, I am still looking over them almost every day and constantly sharing them with family and friends. She made us feel so comfortable during the wedding and brought so much energy to our day. We planned our wedding in the East Bay, but live on the east coast. Amanda was so accommodating and great about communicating and meeting with us despite the limited time we had on the west coast. I am so glad we chose her for to photograph our wedding, the results were beautiful and we will treasure the photos forever!

Amanda - My wife and I wanted to thank you all so much for being there for us on the best day of our lives (so far). From the moment we got together to shoot our engagement photos, my wife and I were confident that we picked the best photographer in the bay for the most important day of our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so pleasant to work with, for teaching me how to be her big photogenic gorilla, and for teaching my wife how to tilt her head and point her toes. To everyone else here on google deciding which photographer to go with, we just want to say, we agonized for days over who we wanted to pick to be our photographer. During both our engagement shoot in Marin as well as our non-photographed city hall ceremony (we just happened to run into Amanda there!) we had complete strangers coming up to us saying "OMG you're in such good hands if Amanda is your photographer!"

Amanda you are amazing, and we will shout it from the mountaintops. We have absolutely no regrets, and we will cherish the photos you took of us for the rest of our lives. We cannot thank you enough! To anybody reading this review who is on the fence, GO WITH AMANDA!

My fiancé and I had a few months left until our SF City Hall marriage ceremony, so we went on a hunt for a great photographer who can capture our wedding moment. Amanda Wei's instagram account showcased some photos that we really liked and she became one of our top choices. Upon contacting her with our wedding date, it was unfortunate that she was already booked on that day, BUT fret not! Her associate photographer Rachel was available! We got to view some galleries of Rachel's own SF City Hall photography and we loved her work! We promptly responded back to book Rachel right away.

Before the ceremony, we were in contact with Rachel. She got our details on what kind of photos we'd like to take, who would be at the ceremony, what kind of wedding dress would be worn, etc. By the wedding date, Rachel arrived on time before the ceremony started and everything went smoothly for 2 hours of photography. When we had the Deputy Marriage Commissioner performing the marriage ceremony, Rachel was really fast and got multiple shots at different angles of the whole event! After that, we had some family group shots and then the rest of the photographs were just me and my newlywed wife all around (inside and outside of) City Hall. Rachel was really professional, told us exactly what to do and how to pose, and kept us smiling big for our joyous occasion with her humorous banter.

The turnaround time was 5 weeks to get the fully finished and edited photographs. They were uploaded to a web gallery and we were able to easily download all 191 photos at full resolution with a click of a button. The web gallery link was also easily sharable with friends and family. The photos  were exactly what we had in mind when we saw the sample galleries. They were airy, light and bright, and we love them! We highly recommend booking Rachel from Amanda Wei!
