Cheryl takes such spectacular photos! I enjoy my time with her as much as I enjoy the beautiful memories she captures.
If you're wondering - should we do an adventure engagement session? The answer is YES! Ryan and I went back and forth in the initial stages of wedding planning to decide traditional wedding vs elopement. Once we settled on a wedding at home in New Orleans, we kept flirting with the idea of taking our engagement pictures somewhere in nature to appease our adventurous hearts. I didn't realize the full extent of this gift until we were there. Is wedding planning stressing you out? Are you trying to cram engagement pictures in between the millions of other tasks on your to do list? YOU NEED AN ADVENTURE ENGAGEMENT SESSION! Ryan and I got to relax and have fun. We couldn't stop smiling, laughing, and joking. This session was the best start to our celebrations leading up the wedding. A moment for us, in one of our happiest places ever. I'd give Cheryl a million stars if I could. Not only did she create pure magic in every picture she captured, but she elevated our entire experience. If the brilliance of her work wasn't reason enough to hire her, her personality will truly win your heart. She didn't even flinch when we suggested she hike up a mountain just before sunrise with all her camera equipment. She's a genuine soul who is passionate about capturing other's happiest moments.
Hiring Cheryl to handle our wedding weekend photography was, hands down, one of our best decisions leading up to the big day. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, she was communicative, understanding, collaborative, and responsive. On the weekend itself, she and her partner, Will, were a nice addition of consistency and patience in a day that threw us more than a few curveballs. Their attention to detail, artistic vision, and genuine sense of adventure and fun made us confident that they had the pictures all under control. Having now received those pictures, we can unequivocally say that Cheryl is more than worth her weight in gold. We now have photos of not only ourselves and our family, but also of every single guest at our wedding, candids and portraits alike, that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. From rehearsal dinner to afterparty, she captured every detail with a thoughtful and fun loving gaze. Her joy and love for her craft comes through in every image. You can tell that she puts as much effort into the editing and curation of the gallery as she does in preparing for the day. We truly cannot recommend Cheryl Cole Photography enough. Cheryl and Will were apart of our engagement and wedding photos - the absolute best combo! Cheryl in particular felt like my photographer, planner, and personal hype woman through the entire wedding planning process. I truly don’t know how she does it and maintains the personal experience for all her clients. I could send her pictures of props, ask timeline questions, and navigate a destination wedding with an expert at my finger tips.

Words cannot express how highly I would recommend Cheryl Cole Photography! I hired Cheryl to photograph my surprise engagement and she truly exceeded my expectations. She arrived to the location early to capture the big moment perfectly and did so without distraction. After the proposal, Cheryl shot an album's worth of stunning portraits and then raced back to our house to capture our surprise as we meet our friends and family. The best part of it all was that we had a fully edited album just a few hours later!

I cannot recommend Cheryl enough!! She was with me from the beginning of my wedding day until the very end, capturing every single special moment! She was focused, attentive to detail, and professional in every way. She took the time to get to know me, my family, and wedding party, which made us feel so special! We were treated more like close friends rather than just another client - you can tell she genuinely cares and is passionate about what she does! When you book Cheryl, you're getting more than a photographer. She encouraged me, calmed my nerves, reassured me, and made sure everything ran smoothly (I mean she even glued my earring back together for me when it broke before the ceremony!!). She was there for us no matter what we needed.

I am even reminded of special moments I forgot about in all the chaos that comes with your wedding day. The photos are absolutely stunning and breathtaking!
