Top 5 I began capturing images the age of 13 when I used my friend's camera to take photos of us on a hike. I was enamored by the ability to freeze our moments in time, and observe the beauty in the world around us. I spent most of my college years exploring the Sierra Nevadas, while studying nonprofit management. When the pandemic turned everything upside down, I kept my heart for service + advocacy and made the career pivot into wedding + portrait photography. Since then, I've traveled around California documenting love stories for couples and families. My love for community + photography has brought me to so many beautiful locations throughout California. Some of my favorite place to capture my clients are: Yosemite, the Redwoods, and the Central California coast.

For our engagement session, she met us in Carmel and gave us the opportunity to use three different locations even though we had originally only planned on two. We are so grateful that she was willing to accommodate the change in plans for us, because our extra location ended up providing us with some of our favorite photos. She’s gave great direction and helped us feel comfortable the entire time.
On our wedding day, she worked super well with our coordinator and got compliments from our friends and family. We truly appreciated her calm demeanor, and the fact that she captured some many great photos of us. She made sure to get plenty of photos, but we still had plenty of time to enjoy our wedding day with our ones. She was willing to edit any insecurities to make sure we were pleased with our final result, that meant the world to us.
We loved having Ashley be a part of our special moments and highly recommend her photography service!
Ashley truly never missed a beat. If she saw that a guest was taking a picture on their phone, she would step in and offer professional ones so that we could capture all of our sweet moments in beautiful pictures. Although her wait time for our pictures was supposed to be much longer, Ashley delivered all of them early to us and they were gorgeous! I attached some of my favorites below. I truly can’t recommend her enough. From the personal touches, to the way she truly felt like a member of the family, Ashley is the perfect photographer for any special occasion. We adored her!
