Two weeks before my wedding I reached out to Caitlin to inquire about flowers for a wedding. Let me start off by saying she is fantastic! She responded to my request immediately. I sent her some pictures of what I wanted and boy did she deliver. My bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and boutonnière were so beautiful. I could not recommend Caitlin and The Velvet Poppy enough.
A good friend of mine had plans to get married in Hawaii but due to the pandemic that plan was canceled. Instead they had a backyard wedding, I reached out to Caitlin, last minute, literally the evening before with a request for a tropicalesque bridal bouquet and flower crown. By asking for a tropical feel, I was afraid that I might be getting a bouquet that would end up too Hawaiian/Tropical or over-the-top. I didn't want to ask for specific flowers or colors because I wanted to be mindful of the limitation (not to mention my last minute request) but Caitlin nailed it. The bouquet and crown was perfect! A touch of tropical with that soft boho chic design. It really made brought everything together and the bride was beaming with excitement.
Caitlin at The Velvet Poppy is a true artist. Before we started the process of looking for a florist for our wedding, I had been following The Velvet Poppy on instagram and was obsessed with her gorgeous work. I figured there was no way she would be available or in our price range, but she was both! She was so easy to communicate with and not only delivered on our wedding day, but when we walked into the venue we were literally speechless of how gorgeous of a job she did. Flowers are my favorite thing and what she does isn't just flowers, but art. The variety of flowers she procured (many I had never seen in my life and were truly spectacular) and the intricate detail she used to make our bud vase centerpieces and chuppah, was nothing short of extraordinary. Thank you so much, Caitlin!! We are so grateful to you for making our wedding day even more special.
My planner put me in touch with Caitlin to do some florals for my small September wedding and I'm so glad with how everything turned out!! I am not a huge floral person and I honestly just told Caitlin what color scheme I had and didn't provide too many specifics for her to go off on. However, once I saw her deliver my florals, I was soo happy with them! And the bouquet was perfect for me and totally my style. I recieved compliments by my friends and family on how beautiful the flowers were. On top of all this, it was super easy to work with Caitlin and she was very responsive and answered any questions I had. Thank you Caitlin!!

Caitlin has been so sweet to me from the moment I met her to a different vision I had for the flowers in my wedding. She truly over excelled and I can't even think of a single thing I didn't like.. because I LOVED all the work she did truly speechless. She even had left over greenery to assemble through different areas of the wedding!!!

Hired Caitlin for an intimate backyard wedding for our son and his fiancé. She knocked it out of the park, very responsive, wonderful work. Highly recommended.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Caitlin and her team are excellent. They go above and beyond. Not only did they take the time to really figure out what my needs were but delivered on them beautifully. Her arrarngements are thoughtful and inspired.
