Trust me, you can stop looking now, you found the best. I had been dreaming about my wedding video for as long as I had been dreaming about my wedding. I had high, VERY high expectations for what I wanted. Andrew smashed all those expectations and then some. I looked high and low for the right vendor and spoke to many “cookie cutter” companies and Andrew stood out amongst them all. He was organized, kind, patient, all of the things you will need that day and leading up to it. You can trust in his vision and skill and just buckle up for the day you get that delivery email…your day is going to be magic and you can rest assured Shuttersound Pictures will be the ones there to capture it.
Andrew captured two of my cousins weddings, and I knew I had to have him!! His work is second to none, and again, art. He is the sweetest, kindest, and most gentle person. Pease look him up so you can see how amazing his work is. He makes sure to capture every little detail and moment and blends right into the crowd. Andrew makes everything feel very natural and nothing is contrived or set up. He does not have the typical wedding video style, and is more cinematic, which we love. He matches the music in the video perfectly to what is actually happening in that moment. His work is one of a kind!!
Truthfully, how can ANYONE book ANYONE ELSE?! I found Shuttersound through The Knot and after seeing the videos and reading the reviews I was sold. We spoke over the phone to discuss ideas and pricing. We were able to come to an agreement on what we wanted as a couple and what Shuttersound needed as well. Our video came about perfect. Andrew's style is essentially the opposite of all the corny overdone wedding videos you have seen before. You truly get a finished product that is unique and cinematic. (And the music selection is to die for) Andrew worked fluidly with us, our HUGE bridal party, and our photographer the whole day. We were very pleased with his style and personality. Before we even received our video I had already suggested Shuttersound to a friend getting married. They booked Andrew by seeing previous videos. She texted me the second she saw our video and gushed over it and how happy she was that she booked Shuttersound as well. I realized after the fact that I never asked how long it would take to receive our video so just be sure to ask for an estimate! Can't wait to see Andrew again at our friends wedding and to see what he does with their video. So essentially what I'm saying is, BOOK ITTTT !
We literally don’t have enough words to explain how amazing it was to have Andrew part of our day. From booking to receiving our video, it was such a seamless and smooth process. Without a doubt, booking with Shuttersound Pictures was one of the easiest and best decisions we made when planning our wedding! They're definitely not your cookie-cutter videographer - and that's a good thing! Andrew and his team have such a keen, unique eye. They truly create the most exceptional, emotionally driven, one of a kind films. I've lost count how many times I've watched our highlight reel - they really did capture our special day so perfectly. A moving culmination of our day that we will treasure forever. Andrew and his team are also very down to earth, genuinely nice people. Hiring Shuttersound (Andrew) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! He is not only incredibly talented, but he did an amazing job of hanging in the background on the wedding day, capturing true and authentic moments, which we now have to treasure forever. We almost didn't hire a videographer because my Husband did not want to speak to a camera or feel like he was being filmed all day, and then I found Andrew, who had an artistic approach to wedding videos that I hadn't seen before. I have watched our sneak peak video about 100 times and I can't wait to see more! If you are looking for a more creative, unique and elevated wedding video, Shuttersound is the way to go!
Andrew was an absolute pleasure to have with us on our special day!! He worked seamlessly with our photographer and was overall just a wonderful person. He was helpful in figuring out ways to get links out to our guests for our livestream of our ceremony and any other request or question we had were covered. Andrew absolutely outdid himself when he created a beautiful ceremony video for our guests to see that missed the zoom! We were truly blown away by the video and the whole experience itself. I can’t wait to see our final wedding video but I already know it’s going to be perfect.
Working with Andrew was not only a pleasure it was truly a gift. The video he created for my husband and I goes beyond just a wedding video, it was like a movie. I couldn't be happier with the video produced for us by Shuttersound Pictures. They took the time to get to know us, and understood perfectly what I DIDN'T want in the video (long lingering shots of the couple looking at each other, overwrought montages and voiceovers, etc -- fine for some but not my style!) and instead captured the true essence of the day: a couple in love, being celebrated by friends and family, and a hell of a party. Friends have all said it's the best wedding video they've ever seen, and I couldn't agree more! I cannot recommend them highly enough.
