Where do I begin!? Without Ananis, our wedding would not have happened. Going into it, the idea of planning a wedding was beyond overwhelming. Ananis was referred to us with high remarks, and I am here to say she even exceeded those expectations. An energetic and detail oriented planner, she not only worked within our budget, but also maximized it. Our wedding was out of state in Maryland, and Ananis emersed herself in the location of where we chose to get married. She really took the time to get to understand what made it so special to us, and used that to include details in the wedding to make it that much more sentimental. Her professionalism is unmatched and she was involved in every facet of the wedding. In addition to her planning skills, she is incredibly personable. She is so easy to communicate with and a joy to be around. I cannot say enough good things! Ananis came into our lives as a wedding planner, and remains as family. I cannot recommend her services enough!

Hire Ananis & her team. Full stop. She is worth every single penny! I wish I had hired her from the start of my wedding planning because I was counting down the days until I could really loop her into all of my vendor/venue email chains. I am the type of person who needs everything to be a specific way if I am the one in charge. Having Ananis allowed me to let go and let her be 'in charge' (even though I obviously still had the final say). She would narrow down options from vendors/the venue based on what she knew my preferences were so I didn't have too many options to choose from - something I find extremely overwhelming; especially when I'm stressed. She made sure all of the tedious paperwork was handled, timelines were planned and helped with any design help I needed in the last two months before my wedding. The absolute best part for me was being able to provide my mom with Ananis's phone number so she could reach out to Ananis with questions regarding the wedding that I did not have the answers to since I had 'let go'. My mom is just like me in needing everything to be perfect so she it was so helpful for my mental health being able to lean on Ananis so much. I could not have made it through the day as calmly as I did without her. Oh did I mention she had the most positive and infectious positive attitude the entire time? Even if something seemed to be off she would put me at ease telling me to enjoy whatever I was doing and she or her team would figure it out before I could really start worrying.

If you want a seamless wedding day, or any event really, Events by Ananis is the company to hire. I promise you won't regret it!

I have so much to say, but here are my main points (details below):

1. Ananis was the best decision I made for my wedding. It is tough to put this point in words. But, she was my sanity/support in ways I can't explain. The weeks before my wedding, I had never experienced such stress and pressure. She handled all those emotions with absolute grace.

2. Ananis "pays for herself." I know every couple has a budget and getting a wedding planner seems to take fr om that budget. That was how I was and why I did not get a wedding planner until I became overwhelmed and couldn't handle the planning anymore. Yet, besides the priceless cost of Ananis keeping my sanity, she "pays for herself." I am sure most couples are not in the wedding industry, which makes us naïve. But, Ananis is in the industry and knows when certain costs can be cut or negotiated. Even though I hired her after all my contracts were signed, she helped me cut costs on many things. I know she was limited because I hired her late, but I can't imagine how much more she would have helped if I had hired her earlier.

3. She makes magic happen. I have countless examples of this one, but the one that stands out is the following: When I booked my hotel block (way before I hired Ananis). I was politely told that if there was an in-house wedding, I would be limited with wh ere I could take photos. I was told that this was especially true if the weather was bad. The hotel had a beautiful library that I loved. The hotel politely told me that this library was reserved for the in-house wedding, especially if it was raining. Well, there was an in-house wedding and it rained all day on my wedding day. I don't know how Ananis did it, but somehow, I got to do my first look and wedding party pictures in this library. I didn't realize this until a couple of days after my wedding, and I am still wondering how she did it.

4. I love my friends and family; I love how unique all of them all. But, that uniqueness comes with very diverse personalities, which are not all easy to accommodate to. However, Ananis handled all these unique personalities with ease. Even some of my most unique wedding-guest-personalities ended up loving her. My whole wedding party, parents, and random guests all raved about her (and some are even calling her their best friends, which I am sure is not normal, but…). I am beyond impressed by this concept and how well Ananis developed such relationships with everyone!

5. She kept everyone on schedule. I had a bridal party of 15. I am also notorious for not being on time for anything. I also gave Ananis an extra challenge by making my ceremony at 3pm. I don't know how she did it, but she kept everything on schedule for every event throughout the weekend. This included the multiple unplanned "mental health breaks" I took during the morning of my wedding. Everyone that has known me said they were all surprised I was on time for my own wedding, which wouldn't have happened without Ananis.

6. She goes beyond anything I have seen with other planners. I have been a bridesmaid at many weddings. I can honestly say I have never seen any planner do as much as Ananis has done. Something as simple as her entertaining my 5-year-old nephew; or when she called me 3 days before my wedding because she "sensed" I was more anxious than usual; or when she convinced me to take a photo with the cake, even though I didn't want to initially (I found out later the photo meant a lot to my mom; I am so glad I took the photo). These are just the examples I can think of, but there are many more.

I might seem insane writing this much about a wedding planner I did not know before hiring, but I hope this helps future couples with their decision to hire her!

Where do I start…Ananis helped me in designing my wedding and wow was she amazing at making everything just the way I imagined and even better. She not only helped me in the design process but she took a lot of the stress off my shoulders. She reached out to people to help do the calligraphy for the table numbers and she helped make sure the items she ordered arrived just in time for my wedding. She also got us the best apple cider donuts from a near by farm as our take home treat that everyone raved about. On top of all that she did a lot more to help me in the planning process. If it wasn’t for her help My wedding day wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was. I can’t thank her enough for all the hard work she put in to helping us design our perfect day. She went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend her for anyone that needs help making their wedding dreams turn into reality!

I started out as a DIY Bride ready to tackle the task of planning my wedding on my own. I quickly became overwhelmed and came to the realization that I was going to need help from a professional. I spoke with three other wedding planners prior to Ananis. I knew after my first call with Ananis she was the one. Not only did she have this positive & bright personality, she asked specific detailed questions to truly understand my vision for my wedding.

Our wedding was unique because it was a two day event at unconventional venues ( movie theater and restaurant buy out). Ananis used her expertise and network to get us on track with the planning process, finalize vendors selections, and managed logistics from the moment we contracted her. She is detailed-oriented, productive and efficient. She was with us every step of the way. She answered every email, text, and phone call. I had this sense of calm during the entire process because of her. So many times she saved us whether is was finding us the perfect cater, a great make up artist, room set up, you name it. She thinks about EVERYTHING and it showed when they day of our wedding came.

Our wedding weekend was absolutely PERFECT because we had Ananis & her team with us. She kept us on a schedule , made sure I ate, and checked in with our guest all night. We got some many compliments and on how well everything ran both days. We have Events by Ananis to thank for that! My Husband & I got to enjoy every moment of our wedding weekend because of Ananis and her team in the background making sure our vision was executed flawlessly and it was! Even little details that we just mentioned to her in casual conversation and forgot about she remembered. Hiring Ananis as our wedding planner was the best decision we made and we are so grateful for all the time, effort, care, and love she put into making our wedding weekend amazing! Its helps that she is an awesome human being that brought such great energy to our wedding weekend. Couldn't imagine doing this without her!

Ananis was an angel sent from heaven. We had a vision in our heads and she made sure to execute that vision and make it come to life. She always very professional and on top of everything that needed to get done. When planning a wedding  it gets very overwhelming however Ananis made everything smooth and made sure we enjoyed the entire process. The best money we ever spent for the wedding was hiring her and her team. Even though shes always busy with other people she makes you feel like you are her only client. Definitely recommend her. You will love her!

Events by Ananis saved me! I reached out for a consultation while trying to plan my wedding on my own and realized within minutes that her experience, professionalism, and connections would be priceless. She made planning/having a wedding SO MUCH FUN! She's so detail-oriented, professional, and responsive. She was able to think about and plan for things I never would have thought about and was able to help me stay organized with all of my tasks and responsibilities. Her professional nature is unmatched and she was able to seamlessly navigate through a lot of different directives and visions making sure that we got exactly what we wanted. Lastly, she was always there when we needed to talk. She really eased every and any concerns at any time.

In short, Events by Ananis is truly magical. My wedding was one of the best experiences I've had and I know that would NOT have been the case if I didn't work with her. I cannot speak or sing or shout her praise enough. If you're on the fence, don't waste time -- just do it!
