Having David and Kristy on our team was one of the best decisions we ever made. They made us feel like stars, and directed us at every moment of the weekend to capture all the best moments. They’re extremely professional and amazing at what they do. They know how to capture photos with the best lighting and find ways to make magic. The photos came out so beautifully like they belong in a magazine. Everyone at the wedding was so impressed with how well it was all captured. Some of the best photos are the candid moments showing all the raw emotions throughout the day from both ourselves and our family members. Only amazing photographers can understand how important those moments are and know to capture them right as they happen. The whole process with them from start to finish was a breeze. We highly recommend them!

David's photographs of our wedding day are my most cherished takeaway from our big day! He did such an incredible job capturing the essence of our entire wedding weekend. We did engagement photos with David, then he photographed our rehearsal dinner & the actual wedding day itself. It is so special to have a timeline of sorts of the weekend with all of our loved ones from near & far. The photos are so gorgeous, some of them look like an editorial out of a magazine - but they still feel very "us" and evoke such a sense of the emotion of the day. Hiring David for our wedding journey was one of the absolute best choices that we made during our planning process!

Choosing David Abel Photography was one of the best decisions my wife and I made throughout our wedding planning process. We were impressed with David’s style of photography from previous work and upon meeting with him, we knew he was exactly who we wanted to work with for our event. Our engagement session was done in Richmond, Va and David made the process both laid back and fun. The images he captured that day were truly stunning and we were so excited to see what would result from his work at our wedding. Our wedding took place at Dover Hall, outside Richmond, Va, and the day of the wedding, David was on site early taking photos of all of the intricate details of our event. Honestly, he also saved me some embarrassment by helping me get my tie figured out, so I was extremely grateful he was there early! David and his wife Kristy captured images from our wedding that we will cherish forever. Whether it be from simple moments to key points in the event, they captured everything perfectly with the utmost professionalism and high quality. We were extremely impressed with David Abel Photography and would recommend them to anyone looking for their type of services. I will add that we ordered a wedding album through them and much like everything else that they produce and/or coordinate, it came back looking incredible.

David is the ultimate professional and highly experienced photographer. I've worked with him for years on weddings, and recently decided to hire him for family photos for our family of four. David put my entire family at ease and each of us enjoyed the process of posing for photos (not an easy thing to do for my husband or me!). The kids warmed up to him almost immediately and we had lots of laughs and fun. I was literally SHOCKED when I got the photos back - I figured with our rowdy bunch there may be a few good ones in the bunch, but there were tons and tons of beautiful photos of my family. He captured our energy, our smiles, and our spirit. Thank you so much David!
