This short course was laid out by Mr. Hobart Chatfield-Taylor, husband to Mrs. Rose Farwell Chatfield-Taylor, between the flowerbeds and trees using sunken tomato cans for holes. This diminutive course was known as the Lake Forest Golf Club.
