I would NEVER recommend this venue to my people of color. Christy Wakefield Miller is one nasty, racist piece of crap!!! First off, this was the first BLACK wedding hosted at the venue which is a ???? within itself. I personally would never waste my money with an establishment owned by a different color that had never hosted blacks but that’s neither here nor there. Saturday July 18, 2026 should have been one of the most special days for the bride to remember and it was ruined by Christy not only attempting to stick a dirty knife in the drinks that the bartender was preparing but also walking around the kitchen sticking utensils that had been in her nasty mouth in the food eating it as if she was hired to do a taste testing. THEN she decided that SHE was offended by being confronted about her disgusting and distasteful actions and decided to call the police and shut the wedding down as the bride and groom were about to cut their cake. She locked everyone out of the building and would not allow the bride and groom back in to retrieve their belongings. She also refuses to refund their money. Meanwhile, they have a contract! She has been deleting Google reviews being made about this incident, deleting comments from social media, and blocking anyone who is bringing light to her racism and just outright disgusting behavior. If you are a BLACK woman, NEVER EVER EVER look in this direction for a wedding venue. Clearly people of color make her feel a way so steer clear!!
