Valdina Ranch

Valdina Ranch and Lodge is a 600-acre ranch located just 30 minutes northwest of Hondo, Texas. In the 1940s, Valdina Ranch operated as a horse ranch and racing arena. Many of the original features are still on the ranch including several small horse barns, a full size racetrack and stables, offices, houses, and the infamous speakeasy with an escape tunnel out to the Seco Creek.

In 2017, one of the horse barns was remodeled into a lodge capable of sleeping up to 180 guests 90 queen beds in total), with an  kitchen, bar, game room with pool tables, a shuffle board, darts, and other games. Includes a conference room and lounge area for meetings and gatherings. Attached to the Lodge is a covered pavilion overlooking the property. Beyond the pavilion is a beautiful pool and hot tub for guests to enjoy. An additional 3,500 square foot indoor temperature controlled event center was built to give guests additional options for their events.
