Films by Ross / Videographer

I literally poured over the work of at least 100 videographers in Florida looking for the very best, most talented videographers I could find.  When I found Films by Ross I was blown away by how well the videos were crafted.  I knew I had to bring him onboard for our wedding and was even willing to change the wedding date if needed to ensure we could have him film our wedding day for us.  Luckily, we planned our wedding on a weekday in the off season, so we were fortunate to be able to contract him with relatively little notice.

I could go on and on telling you about how amazing his films are; but, you can check out his Instagram and YouTube to see his work which speaks for itself.  Instead, I want to tell you why you should consider contracting him outside of how stunning his work is.  One detail that is often overlooked when planning a wedding is making sure every vendor and service you bring on his highly professional and able to work well with the rest of the team you put together.  Ross worked so well with the photographers, the coordinator, the private chef, hair and makeup artist and the guests.  He took great care to make sure the other vendors got what they needed to ensure their end product would be on point and in turn they did the same for him.  This detail is absolutely crucial to ensure your day and the whole operation runs smoothly.  You want and need your service providers to work well together.  You would have thought Ross had been lifelong friends with the photographer by how well they worked in tandem.  It was truly impressive, and I am so thankful for that because it made the day so easy to enjoy.

He also pays close attention to detail.  He manages to capture the day so well; but, you never feel like you have cameras in your face or have to perform.  You get to be in the moment and enjoy the day with your new spouse and guests while he is in the background documenting each moment in a way that does not feel intrusive.  That skill alone gives you the ability to sit back, relax and enjoy each moment while the work gets done in the background.  It's truly amazing to see the finished products and how detailed each film is after such an emotional day.

He also manages to turn around finished products much faster than his competitors.  Considering how stunning his work is, it is incredibly impressive how quickly he is able to get the first teaser trailer over to you.  It is always so tough to wait on finished professional products after the wedding; but, Ross manages to edit and craft his videos in record time.  We were so thankful for that!

Lastly, if you want any changes or something added that was not included, he kindly takes your requests and does everything he can to ensure the finished product is exactly what you hoped for.  He is so easy to work with and so kind.  Again, these are things you wouldn't know from just looking at his finished films.

Contracting Films by Ross was worth every penny!  We are so thankful he was able to film our wedding, and we will cherish these videos for the rest of our lives.

I don’t even know where to start! From the second I saw Ross’s first video I knew we had to use him for our wedding. Although Ross was all the way in FL and we were in NYC, all communications were seamless and he was a breath of fresh air! He went out of his way to try to make our special day perfect. He drove all over NYC from the crack of dawn trying to get the perfect shots for our videos. Once he got to our house, he brought an air of calmness that we needed and was always there whenever we needed anything. If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer for your wedding, JUST DO IT! Ross was so amazing to work with! He made the whole day so comfortable and as least awkward as possible for being filmed the entire day. The turnaround time for the trailer was less than a week, and he had my full film delivered in about 3 weeks. The video was truly exceptional and we were blown away. Ross is hands down the best videographer there is. My husband and I hired him for our wedding on May 31, 2024. He is so personable and communicates so well from way before the wedding through the weeks after the wedding. Very trustworthy and respectful vendor. He is so prompt with getting your video materials back as well. I had my teaser within the first 4 or so days and my feature film in just over a week after the wedding. The quickness of having the films delivered, however, does not sacrifice the amazing quality of the videos. I cry every single time I watch my teaser and my feature film. He’s still going to be sending me raw footage from the ceremony, speeches, toasts, first looks/touches, dances etc and I know I’ll cry with these too. He is so talented. He has a way with cinematography and definitely creates art. I would hire Ross again and again. If you are wondering if hiring a videographer is worth it, I am telling you it is, and Ross is even more worth it. I told him a few days after the wedding how I was so shocked how quickly the wedding day went by and how everything during the ceremony and early parts of the wedding was such a blur due to many emotions going through my head. Now that Ross sent me these videos I can relive the day over and over again. I am telling you, your day will go by quickly and you will wish you had films by Ross to help you relive the day. Ross was simply incredible, plain and simple! He filmed our wedding day and not only is he considerate and kind, he’s incredibly talented and captured beautiful moments I didn’t even remember took place until I saw them for a second time. If you’re considering a videographer Ross is an easy choice!!! He made our wedding day such a comfortable experience and a created a beyond beautiful set of videos we will have for a lifetime and bring us to tears every time we sit down to watch.  On top of it all, he’s communicative, responsive, and considerate.
